Today I came up with a new and beautiful recipe with healthy nutritients called Beetroot Yogurt Pancake.
I love to try new recipes. This recipe of beetroot yogurt pancake, I am trying firt time and it really turns out delicious and it is a perfect breakfast to start your day. It is quiet different from other pancakes because in this I have not added refined flour or wheat flour. Instead of flour I have added Semolina. It is an easy recipe with just few ingredients. Serve this with green chutney / tomato ketchup or have it as it is.
So lets try this amazing pinkish pancakes-
Ingredients
▪︎beetroot-2
▪︎yogurt-1 cup
▪︎semolina-1 cup
▪︎salt-according to taste
▪︎capsicum-½cup
▪︎green chilies-½ tbspn
▪︎tomato-½cup
▪︎cucumber-½cup
▪︎blackpepper-½tbspn
▪︎garam masala-½tspn
▪︎cumin powder-½tspn
▪︎fresh coriander leaves-½tbspn
▪︎oil-2 tbspn
METHOD
▪︎in a plate take beetroot and grate it.
2.now grate cucumber.
3.finely chopped capsicum and tomatoes.
4.in a bowl add semolina and yogurt. If needed then add little water. Mix all well and then add grated cucumber. Make sure to add little water slowly and less as the grated cucumber also releases water.
5.then add grated beet, capsicum, tomatoes and cucumber.
6.mix all the ingredients properly.
7.if you want to add green chilies for spicyness then add some.
8.we can see a beautiful pink color is formed. Now add salt, pepper, garam masala and cumin powder.
9.mix all well.
10.heat a skillet or Tawa.
11.now pour one ladle of batter and spread on the tawa.
12.Cook it and smear some oil on the edges.
13.flip the pancake and cook from the other side till the brown color appear.
14.cook nicely from both the sides. When its done then off the flame.
15.tranfer the Beetroot Yogurt Chilla or pancake in the serving plate with your favorite dip.
And one more Interesting thing about this recipe is that we can make a bread toast too.
Lets see how-
●Take a bread slice.
●Place one spoon batter over the bread and spread it.
●now cook it on tawa from the batter side first. Smear some oil at the edges.
●flip and cook from the other side too.
●cook from both the sides nicely till it become crisp.
●cut the bread slice and serve them in a plate.
