I won't stop talking about how the Hive Learners Community have been great and is dedicated to serving its members in the best way. I have never regretted joining this community and it has been an amazing moment each time I am always present and active in the community. They are doing tremendously and are working towards making it more fun for us all. Ranging from the Monday heart-to-heart talks, Saturday's hangout, weekend threading, creative Sunday and the weekly edition, they have been working to serve members better.
The team are working tirelessly to ensure committed members through their verification process with strict guidelines to abide by, giving positive feedback to defaulters with the hope of making changes thereafter and also rewarding members accordingly to appreciate their efforts. I love how they are also organised to make the community better, but there is no way things could be as good as that without its flaws. We are not perfect and we give room for adjustments and corrections to come back being better.
One suggestion of mine is concerning the hangouts being held on Mondays and Saturdays. I observed that not everyone attends any, and they are always active in making the weekly editions. Yes, I understand everyone's got life outside the chain, but amidst life's busyness, we can always create time for what we love. A lot of us have come to enjoy activities in this community, so we need to create time to attend these hangouts too. Making flexible timing should work. We all come from different countries with different time zones, so providing options for both weekdays and weekends would allow members to participate depending on which one fits their schedule.
Also providing incentives for those who show up would encourage more members to join in the next. I noticed there isn't a giveaway channel in the Discord room as this can motivate members to participate when they see how active members are being rewarded through exclusive giveaways and recognition. Maybe once in a while, there should be interactive discussions such as question and answer sessions in hangouts whereby the winners are rewarded. The questions might range from the community to know those who are active and also questions about life where we can learn from others' contributions.
Most importantly, scheduling and planning regular hangouts events and promoting them across all communication channels like Hive and Discord would remind members to schedule their time even amidst busyness while prioritising their participation.
Genres of topics
I guess we have covered lots of personal development topics, a few about education and technology, goals, and politics, but we still need more. Topics like finance, fiction and non-fiction stories, education (online courses and platforms to delve into), family and parenting, relationships and dating, minimalism etc. It is important to go deeper into some topics here and this is one way to improve best in our writing skills. This is something we all desire; to become better as a blogger and writer. When we think outside the box with some topics under these genres, this would keep helping us to be more creative and develop better.
Thanks for your time reading. Looking forward to your interaction.
