Virtues are what speaks best of our personality; they are attitudes, characters, behaviours and disposition that enables us to act in a socially and morally acceptable way. Virtues are something important for every individual to possess and it is possible to exercise more than one virtue, but we should know that no one is perfect, there would still be some flaws in us and that doesn't stop us from becoming the best which would make other people love and have interest in us. Virtues like courage, honesty, integrity, humility, respect, patience, etc. are what we all should possess. Also, I would want to let us know that the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians are also virtues we ought to exhibit to enjoy life to the best satisfaction.

Among all the virtues in human beings, the one I love most is "Moderation". This is one virtue I believe individuals must strive to exhibit as it gives life meaning to such a person rather than going the extreme to be what they are not. The key to abundant life is to be moderate in all you do, even the Bible talks about moderation. Being moderate in the way we talk, act, and think is something that would earn an individual respect and be loved by all. When you exhibit or possess moderation, it helps you to appreciate the things you have rather than being worried about what you don't have. It helps one to be grateful for who they are rather than comparing yourself to another.
I have always exercised moderation in everything I do because I see it as the key to a healthy and joyful life. Living in moderation has helped me to be grateful and know my limits/boundaries especially when it comes to communication with other people. I have seen many people who lack this virtue and in the end, they are embarrassed for crossing their limit and not knowing when to stop. I hate to see people doing more than themselves and thinking they are better than others. The best way for you to make me ignore you is by going to the extreme in trying to prove to everyone that you know it all, I will just shun you and mind my business.
One thing about moderation is that it helps you to control yourself, feelings and desires and also stops you from overindulging yourself on things that aren't necessary. The easiest way to fall is when you do things in excess and you will see people wanting your downfall because, to them, you are proud and feel too high of yourself. This is where the world awaits one's downfall and when it happens, it is to your ruin and disgrace.
There is this lady who feels she knows it all as she always puts her mouth in every discussion proving she knows everything. People have a word for it and it is termed, "I too know". This infuriated everyone in the compound including myself and were careful not to be close to her. The way she dresses, acts and spends is way beyond what she has even when she does not work but depends on men to tip her some amount. It later dawned on her how foolish she had been when everyone deserted her including the men as they stopped tipping her and she maintained her boundary later on. Today, she is so gentle and careful of how she spends after realising she has nothing left but to start from scratch. This is something a lack of moderation would do to a person. It blinds one from seeing and appreciating the little they have but are exposed to the lifestyles of others and want to mingle but in the end, reality dawns on them and they begin to regret not taking the right step when they had the chance to.
For me, I can never move close to someone who lives above their means, not cautioning themselves in their attitudes, characters, and behaviour but wanting to do things above their ability. I love my sanity and peace, I want a happy life where I don't need to worry about things I shouldn't be worried over in the first place, and with this, I believe you are my friend if you are living a moderate life. Even if there is something you have done to hurt me, at least knowing that you understand the little things and are appreciative of what you have, not thinking of how to go beyond your level, then you earn my forgiveness because this is something I have always teach others; know your limit and don't try to go beyond who you are or what you are because I won't buy that from you, never!
Thanks for your time on my blog.
