Health is wealth
But this short sentence is more than it sounds, it has a deeper meanings than just mere words. If health is wealth, then I think I am right to say an unhealthy person is poor......
Interpreting by just by the words, good health is a type of wealth (not money related). And I think this supoorts what I said above, that an unhealthy person is poor. Come to think of it, when you were sick, what did you think of the most.... was it food, was it clothes, was it family and/or friends, or was it money ?. It was total recovery on your mind, in fact, a speedy one. Now you agree with me thst heslth is wealth, right...yeah.
The First Hand Prevention Against Sickness
Do you know you can treat any sickness before you even feel it? And this way of preventing your body against sicknesses is free, you ain't spending a dime. I have applied it several times and gotten good results. I am talking about maximum rest, I mean sleep.
Each time I feel tired, have little headache or was stressed I make sure I find time to sleep. Sleep is so important to the human body and it does a lot of good to it. Let me list some of the benefit of sleep for you to see how much it can prevent your body from sicknesses.
Improves your mood: regular sleep helps you reduce the stress that comes from worrying or over thinking. Each time you sleep and then wake up, you feel better than how you were before sleeping.
Clearer thoughts & better focus: you can testify to it that you get better when you wake up from your sleep. You head is more clear to think because while asleep your brain won't do to much hence, would be able to focus more on anything you want to do when you wake.
Renewal of energy: aside from food that gives us energy, getting enough sleep can help you regain lost energy.
Prevent often sickness: having enough sleep regularly prevents the human body from getting sick often.
Generally, what sleep does is to put the body at rest to regain energy and allow the different mechanisms of the body take place more effectively since its at rest. To me I see sleep like taking a car for servicing at the mechanic's / engineer's shop. There not so much work done on the car than to re-fill, renew and repair. So it is with the human body, sleep is a natural checkup for refilling and renewal.
After a stressful and tiring day, the body naturally wants to rest and it does this because it is needed to keep each and every body parts effective whenever they are to function. Sleep is so important to our body that skipping it makes the body less active and if it is skipped regularly, the body becomes more less active: and this is when sicknesses can easily intrude the body because it is weak.
