Is there anyone who is does not have any problem, major or minor ? Maybe, but I do not think there is anyone who doesn't. Every problem weighs differently, it could be major or a very minor one, it might not necessarily be a bad one. One thing about problem is that it could take away the peace of mind of a person depending on how the problem is. Some problems can be solved easily while some might take not be easy to solve.
Money may not buy happiness but money contributes to almost everything that brings happiness.
One major problem I have is source of income, how and where to get money. I mean money sufficient to take care of my needs, not necessarily to satisfy my desires for now. I understand how money works, money works on the platform of exchange: you get money by exchanging what you have or can do. For example, you get paid for what you do ( your service that you render to others ). I also understand that you attract money by value, literally, your value determines your worth and how much gets into your pocket (bank, wallet, etc ).
Thank God for Hive, I have been able to sort some of my needs without having to disturb anyone. My earnings on Hive has helped me a lot and till date, I appreaciate my onboarder for bringing here and patiently put me through the basics things I ought to know about this wonderful blockchain. But my earnings on Hive for now can only do little.
Aside from Hive, I am a graphic designer and I make social media designs, church flyer, birthday flyer, brand and business flyer: I also moving fully into brand Idendtity design. I do not get much clients for my skills and this has been one problem entrepreneurs face. I have a social media account, Instagram, where I post my work. Been a creative, I need to be active on my social media, engaging with other accounts for the algorithm to be in my favour and showcase my Instagram page to others but the supply of electricity here is not even enough to spend enough time to engage. My powerbank is also not strong enough for me to engage in a day like I ought to. I really need a powerbank to support myself.
The economy of the country is not encouraging, basic amenities are not readily available for citizens, standard of living is now harsh. The prices of goods and services has been high since the rise of dollar against our local currency, Naira. I wonder how we are all surviving this economy, what about those who are not earning even what I am earning, how are they coping?.
The price of goods has refused to come down even after the slight fall of Dollar against Naira: this problem is currently a fault from many citizens in the country, they have refused to bring down their prices. Due to this, here in uni I have been out of foodstuff for about month now, I just try to get little of this and that to eat, many times I contribute with my friends here in my hostel to get something good to eat and survive, hope and work towards a better future.
The minimal amount I need to re- stock is around $35 and this would get me foodstuffs that would last me for a month and maybe 2 weeks. Initially, I would need just about $10 - $20 for a full re-stock of my foodstuffs but now the prices of goods are 3 times higher than they were this time last year.
Schooling isn't really helping right now because there is more demand that requires money, especially unplanned for and they usually get on our nerves because it is either we are not expecting it or we aren't meant to be the ones to pay in the right sense. I also need close to $120 to renew my hostel rent for this year, my last rent got expired first week of February this year. I really hope I get the money for a new rent before I start getting complains from the owner of the hostel. I believe God would come through for me and every single person in need out there.
