There is this neighbour I have in my hostel here in school, he is a guitarist and he plays so good, I mean real good. And there is one thing about musicians that are good or that wants to stand out among the crowd of musicians, that thing is rehearsal. Rehearsals (or practice) helps sharpens one's skill it also helps you become more familiar with your musical instruments and gadgets.
On a scale of knowledge and experience in music, this guy is better than I am, he is literally my father in music and has quite a lot of reputation. I respect him for that because he knows his onions as a guitarist.
Noise or Disturbance
The noise aspect, I won't call it a noise but a disturbance. He literally rehearse every time of the day as long as there is power, he is good to go for hours. The sound of his guitar sometime serves as alarm for me in the morning as early as 7:30am. I wake up to it like the trumpet call in a military camp where soldiers prepare for morning parade.
I wouldn't not say it's a noise because his play is pleasing to the ear so it isn't a noise. He just doesn't care about how you feel or think about his playing. Even at night, he plays till around 9:00pm and I have never heard him play anytime past 9pm; guitar is a high pitch instrument so there is higher possibility of the sound travelling very far at night when everywhere is calm and less noisy.
I heard from a friend that he stopped caring if his play is disturbing any one in the hostel since the time some guys held a party in the hostel and turned the whole hostel to a club house, the music was just too loud; he complained but these guys did nothing but ignore his complaints. I heard he got pissed and decided to revenge and obviously, he is still in his act of revenge😂😂. And, I don't think he's stopping anytime soon because phewwwww....... that guy plays his guitar everytime, with an average time of 3-4 hours at a go: and he rehearses like 2/3 times in a day depending on how free he is.

This holiday, he hasn't been playing too much though, and the reason is because of he is going out for night rehearsals, gigs and studio recordings. Once he is done with all of that, he's coming back fully to set the hostel on fire🔥🔥. We just need to keep forebearing it like the bible has taught.
Truth be told, this guy won't change anytime soon because I feel he's now used to playing like that. And thank God he is in his final year in school so he will pack out soon;we will miss him and his guitar dearly.
I love music, listening to music and I am a musician, I play the bass guitar, which is why I don't see, think or feel he and his guitar are causing noise, rather, a disturbance. I've been to his room a few times and I relate with him from far we are not close, we just greet hey bro, morning boss, good evening cheif the usual way guys greets each other.
Thank you so much for the reading through
