Woohoo 😉😉i just can't contain my joy after seeing this topic hehe, i have been thinking hard on what to write on this topic and how to go about this particular topic not because i don't know what to write but because i am over familiar with this particular topic...
Growing up as an hairdresser's child came with a lot of fame both unwanted and wanted fame, i was quite popular for different things and all this was because my mum was an hairdresser and because of her customers i was known for many things, it didn't just stop there i was also popular in my school because of my brilliancy...
It was hard at some point but it got better as time goes on as i was now used to all the attention i was getting because of my attributes...
The fact is that I was popular for many things back then as a kid and out of all the things i was popular for, I will be sharing only three of what made me popular as a kid with you all today and even till now i am being known because of that particular habit/trait...
Join me as i take you on my journey as a very popular kid both in school and at home...
I WAS POPULAR FOR MANY THINGS
Thinking hard and deep about how my life has been because of this popularity and sometimes i feel happy and sometimes i feel sad all because a lot of people judged me wrongly even before having the chance to get to know me better...
It was a mixed feeling of pain and happiness, is it the popularity for being brilliant, is it the popularity for being competitive, is it the popularity for being a foodie, is it the popularity for being extremely dark in complexion or the popularity for being extremely stubborn...
It was just so hard to deal with a lot of questions and to be honest it got to a point where i got tired of being popular because people don't understand me well enough to know who and what i am truly...
When we talk about being popular as a kid, i was popular for being really dark in complexion, for being a foodie and also for my stubbornness, these three things are what made me quite popular as a kid...
I was loved and always being picked on because of my excessive love for food, i am someone who doesn't joke with food and when it comes to food i go extra miles to make my tummy happy even if i have to bring heaven down to earth for it to happen...
I was known for this by mum's customers and even as a grown up now i still get questioned on being a foodie but now i think everything is now moderate as i am now older and this means i eat less than before which is a good thing...
Talking about popularity in school, i was quite popular for different things too but the two main things i was popular for was my brilliancy and competitive spirit...
I don't accept defeat anywhere and anyhow even if it's in the class you have to give me proofs or i disagree, i make sure everything is competitive and tough for the candidates involved and because of this i have been known to be very competitive and confident...
I was also known for my brilliancy throughout my schooling years, i was a constant topper of my school from primary to secondary and because of this i have been given gifts and awards for being a constant topper through my junior year and secondary years...
This is not a bragging matter but to be honest with you all, i have taken the first position constantly for 5 straight terms without falling back, that is the extent of my brilliancy...
In summary, i was quite popular for my brilliancy in school and even till now i am still being used as an example by the teachers whenever there is provocation of any kind, even kids that didn't meet my tenure in school now know me at home because I am always being mentioned in school as a point of reference to other up comers...
In conclusion, being popular for brilliancy is quite a good thing and also being popular as a foodie is also not bad either heheh, i am happy i got known for all these things and not something bad even if i was judged wrongly at first, few people got a different perspective of me after getting close and knowing me truly and today we still remain one and that is the power of popularity heheh...
