Hello all my friends who are on the HiVE platform, especially those in the Hive Learners community, I'm @rahmatandesti again here to greet all of you, I hope you are all in good health and good luck with your activities.
As usual, I again want to enliven the excellent contests held by the Hive Learners community, of course, contests that are always interesting in each edition. As in the last edition on Sunday 17 this time we will discuss about Injury. Of course, a very interesting discussion because everyone must have felt an injury, be it mild, moderate or severe. At least in everyday life we have experienced minor injuries. The causes can vary, some of which occur due to our own negligence or the negligence of someone who causes us to be in a disaster.
Injury is a condition that makes us unable to carry out activities as usual because our body functions are disturbed so that we cannot use it properly. The lightest, for example, a scratch when we fall, we can't walk properly. The most severe may be broken bones and have to do the surgery is very scary because surely the healing process will be very long.
I've had an injury from a motorcycle crash that left me unable to walk for a few weeks due to lacerations caused by my body rubbing against the road and I sprained my leg which made me unable to walk.
This incident happened when I was leaving for college, at that time I was in a bit of a hurry because I was afraid to be late for an important class, so I drove a little faster on the motorbike. At an intersection there are several people who will cross the road including school children and parents who take their children to school. Incidentally across the intersection there are elementary, middle and high school schools so that quite a lot of people want to cross the road. When I passed that road I had increased my level of vigilance but suddenly one of the motorbikes suddenly crossed so I didn't have time to stop the motorbike I was driving because when I was driving the motorbike I was sure that no one would cross because I saw busy road conditions. However, everything was beyond my expectations, a motorbike driven by a mother and her child suddenly crossed at that time I was unable to control the motorbike I was carrying so it hit the driver, even though there were many people who wanted to cross but only the motorbike was desperate to cross suddenly arrived without a second thought. At the time of the accident I was dragged from the left side of the road to the right side of the road, fortunately at that time I was not hit by another person. However, as a result of this incident, I had to be rushed to the nearest hospital because my body was injured and I could not stand up.
The person I hit turned out to be worse, his right hand broke because he was dragged on the road and had to be referred to a bigger hospital for surgery, while his son was also seriously injured because his leg was broken and he couldn't walk.
From the testimony of people around who witnessed the accident that I experienced, she said, the mother did look in a hurry so she did not focus on crossing the road even though the people around her also wanted to cross but did not cross because they knew there was a motorbike that wanted to pass. Maybe it was a disaster for me and the mother with her child, it was fate that we all could only surrender.
From this incident, we discussed and agreed to make peace and I was required to pay for the medical expenses of the mother and child until they recovered. Although I was a little reluctant because I was sure that at that time I was walking correctly and did not violate, but judging by the severe condition of the mother and child, so I gave up and accepted the results of the deliberation decision.
As a result of the accident, I am now more careful when I see someone crossing even the distance is still far from me, but I often feel paralyzed and nervous because I am still traumatized by the accident I experienced. Maybe this is a valuable lesson for me to always be careful and alert when driving because we don't know when an accident will happen to us, but if we are always careful at least we can minimize accidents that will happen to us.
A message for myself and all of my friends to always be careful when driving because death is always stalking us, never be careless and take things for granted, we are indeed unable to avoid fate and death that will befall us, but at least we have tried to always be careful. heart, maybe it can minimize the accidents that we will experience. I have felt it, maybe this can also be an experience for all of us who have read the story that I share.
That's all the discussion that I can come up with in this edition of the contest. Hopefully it can entertain all readers, especially friends in this community. Sorry if there are any wrong words, I'm still learning and I really hope for constructive criticism and suggestions from all of you. Thank you for your participation, have a nice day all of you.
Special thanks:
