Existem lugares que não tem o cuidado necessário com essas espécies selvagens, sem condições para manter um espaço suficiente para o animal se adaptar assim como faria no ambiente natural, sem alimentação descente e sem cuidados médicos para os animais.
Nesse cenário, tal ambiente se torna um local que mais prejudica do que ajuda o animal. Se eles não tem condições de manter o local é melhor fechar do que causar prejuízos para o animal. Além disso, sem a manutenção das estruturas, o risco vai além, podendo causar riscos para os visitantes, trabalhadores do local e animais.

A conclusão que chegamos é que a resposta certa para um ambiente como o zoológico é depende. Se houver recursos para cuidar de maneira correta dos animais, há mais benefícios do que malefícios, ajudando principalmente para manter espécies em extinção. Por outro lado, sem os cuidados necessários o local se torna mais prejudicial para os animais e um risco para os visitantes.
