My title says it all, these were the words of founder of Pakistan, Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We living in a democratic country, still unable to enjoy the fullest of democracy however, glad to breath freely, freedom of speech to some extinct. It is a mixed feeling, after all it is our country and there is no other place than this.

I am not that expert but since childhood, we use to hear a lot about budgets and all, Government doing so much for the people but I didn’t get it how. Poor along with middle class are suffering, earning more and more for the government? It is not that everything is bad or every government department or personals are corrupt but you cannot identify as mostly they are lol. Talking about our money, yes Government has all of our money which they utilize in budget and for the development of the country but we never see any developments. So here I am to share one of those points where I think Government needs to spend and where not to spend our monies.
Education
In Pakistan, illiteracy rate is more than 50% which is an alarming situation after 75 years of Independence. There is no proper progress and actions taken yet to work in this area by the government. Specially in interiors, means the villages and other small cities, where there is no proper education system. I think government should build a system to increase awareness of education and start free higher education system to those living in villages.

I think they don’t want people to get educated or else the questions will arise too many from interiors, if one get the knowledge, they are confident enough to ask government for many things. So, in order to avoid such scenarios, they want people to be illiterate and do whatever is asked to do without having any thought. They are still living the life of slaves.

These people are so skillful and hardworking and if they get education would be a positive point, they will be more powerful. This is the biggest loss of our country, we have so many talented and skillful people but due to lack of education, unable to participate in the development of our country. We need to raise our voice for this issue and I think we are not the only one facing this issue, there are several other countries having the same thing. This needs to be rectified by UN as well but ………………. Expect the best and prepare for the worst.
Foreign trips and protocols
I am unable to understand this activity, maybe I am totally wrong. How could the government officials use the public money for their foreign trips? Why to use five star expensive hotels and live like a king with close friends and family on official trip to other countries, when your own nation is not having enough money to handle natural disasters. One thing is clear, if there’s a conference or any invitation, you can appoint couple of officials to go and handle things, why a group of people who won’t be doing anything in the summit or conference are selected with families to go, this is wasting money.

On the other hand, if our team is going to beg for the funds or any help in terms of money, why we are going out there spending so much money, you can just call them or send them an official letter. Well, this is all just my thinking. Also their protocols, expensive cars, too many servants, this should be reduced in order to save the money of the public, this all money should be used in the best interest of the public.

I think I got emotional and aggressive in writing this blog for the first time, but the topic needs this aggression. There is much more inside me but the truth is, nothing is going to change by writing or speaking all alone sitting on the couch of my house. We all need to stand up and raise our voices but when? I hope we all wake up at the right time before its too late. Hoping for the best……
