I often used to think about this topic and talk to myself about what we will be leaving behind for our next generation. The only answer which comes in my mind again and again is nothing because whatever we have saved for them won’t be enough or satisfactory as per the current economic situation which is getting worst year by year all over the world.

Actually I have kept many old things and still try to save as many as I can but these things are no more than a garbage box for new generation except for a few possibly.
HP Still Camera
When I was looking in my treasure box for things which could be mentioned in this post, I found this still camera. I don’t remember when I used it last time or when it was in my use. But I remember that it was given by @shahzad-ansari in 2004 or 2005. It is still in good condition after so many years and hope it live for more decades. This will be a gem and antique for our next generation if kept safe and sound.

There is no more use of still camera, cell phones have taken over them with their excellent quality picture result. Our next generation would never see these cameras in shops so, this camera can be a great source of hard cash if required in future. This could be sold as an antique.

Coin & Stamp Collection
I have collected and saved a lot of coins. Some of them are from my Dad. I have kept them in a Monkey pouch. These are from different countries and few of them are too old.

I like collecting coins but I am not sure if next generation would be fond of same hobby. Nevertheless, they would have a choice either to sell these coins to an antique shop or keep them save for their next generation.

Long time ago, I have taken a stamp diary from my father which I really liked as a child and still have kept it safe. These stamps were used to post letters and envelopes. But I don’t think these stamps are used anymore anywhere in the world. This is also included in an antique piece of work which I would pass on to new generation.

Golden Memories
I will leave behind my precious desktop system and a box full of DVDs and video cassettes. My CPU has approx. 300 GB of data including my documents, videos and pictures.

These media files would help next generation to know and understand our values and importance of family. How we used to celebrate our religious occasions and other special events together.

Respect for elders and love for young ones, taking care of each other, our culture, our discipline and manners are clearly visible in our pictures and videos, especially the ones which are from my childhood.

We are not millionaires or billionaires but the living standard should be maintained and balanced, etiquette needs to be followed in order to live a happy life. This is the most important message which I want next generation to follow. To live with unity, be caring, loving and helpful to others.
All above pictures are taken by me through my father's cell phone TECNO SPARK 8C.
