Hi guys,
The weekend is fast approaching and I hope we are all trying as much as possible to get into the weekend moood. Different people have how they enjoy their weekends and one of the ways can be too much in my opinion.
For me, I don’t drink because of religious reasons. Some people agree with me to some degree and some don’t agree with my decision of not taking alcohol. I’ve has a friend force me to take a little dose of alcohol cause he claimed that drink contained a small percentage of alcohol.
I was like man, what are you doing? I’ve not taken alcohol for all the 20 something years of my life, are you going to use 2 minutes to convince me to drink? Well, he insisted and I also said what I said. Eventually we had to argue a bit about religious beliefs and all that and all I could say at the end was “we all have a lot of religious beliefs to look up to, we can’t obviously abide by all these beliefs but we can choose to abide by most of them.” We were not created to be perfect and we make mistakes everyday. That is why we have everyday to ask for forgiveness.
Now that I have established that I have never been in a drunken state let me talk about an encounter with a drunk man.
This is something that happened about 3 years ago when we went for field programme which was a mandatory thing in our school. On one of our daily trips to the field we met this man who has an early morning booze which happened to be our unfortunate day. We met this man in this heavily drunk state and he wanted to talk to us.
At first glance most of us didn’t realise he was drunk as he tend to speak a lot of sense. So in the cause of the conversation we realised he was deviating and asking us questions which we had no answers to. I told my group that we should forget him and leave and then that was when he got pissed. Like he was really angry that he was still talking and I asked my colleagues to walk out on him.
What could we do? Nothing. Most of us had never encountered such a situation before so we didn’t even know how to handle it. We stood by and watched him rant all he wanted till he was satisfied. After ranting for a long time he went back to telling us a lot of false stories I guess.
Can you believe this man kept us there for more than 30 minutes just talking about things which were none of our business? Well, we had a good laugh initially but then it didn’t turn out nice for us lol. At the end of the day we went back to our rooms and all we could remember was the fun part of it even though he scared us initially lol.
Well, I don’t think that you the one reading this would have thought that it was a crazy wild experience right? Am glad it wasn’t crazy lol.
