I find a lot of things to be weird. In fact I think I as a human is weird and I sometimes don’t seem to understand how we humans operate.
Most people who seem to have spiritual beliefs are termed as people who have faith. For me, I think that we have over borrowed the ideas from certain religions into our own way of lives and I think it creates more harm than good. For instance, the idea of karma. Karma as a whole is a concept where you get paid back for your sins on this earth.
For some reasons most people believe that karma only happens to bad people and it’s the revenge of good people when someone does something bad to them. I don’t believe in karma and its concept. Yes, I do believe that we all get paid back when we deserve whether it’s on this earth or the here after. But then I also believe in forgiveness.
In my religion, peace and forgiveness is preached a lot but then it also states that when someone does something wrong and you can’t take it you are at liberty to pay that person back. This is where the concept of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth works. It is stated that you should pay back in the same magnitude and then you have no problem.
sourceFor me I’ll always go for the lather. I say this cause as I explained already I don’t believe in karma and how its pay back concept is described. I think Karma is real but not as people describe it to be. I best believe if you won’t retaliate it is best you let go and live your life as you will.
This brings me to the concept of reincarnation. Reincarnation is a concept which has been borrowed from another religion just like karma. The concept of reincarnation is a weird one and there are actually people who believe in this concept.
That is why at times we find ourselves giving out names of our past generations to new generations cause we believe that they have come back as our kids or siblings.
For me I have come across people who give the names of their lost parents to their kids. Mostly those people belong that it is their parents who have come back as their kids so to mark it they give their names to them. In most cases those children don’t show any traits of the deceased parent in them or in the future but since they believe in it they work with it. I know of one of my uncles who recently gave birth and gave the name of his deceased mother to the girl. He believed that his mother had come back to life.
As I stated in the beginning, there are a lot of spiritual things that i don’t believe in and I don’t think also think I’ll ever have a change of mind when it comes to those topics. Reincarnation as a topic is something that I don’t believe in and I don’t think I’ll believe in such a concept. I think and believe we all have our allocated time to do on this earth and once we have run out the clock we die and fade away, never to be seen again or heard of again.
