Hi guys,
Before writing this prompt I had to think for a whole day lol. I saw the topic and immediately I wanted to write about being a cheetah. Am sure most of us will know the many qualities that a cheetah has. It is quiet, sleek and super fast. In fact, it is the fastest animal on land.
All these qualities make it very hard not to be in love with a cheetah, but one thing I don’t like is that it’s a predator. Am not a bully and the wildlife part of a cheetah makes me dislike it a bit.
So after I realised I couldn’t write about a cheetah I thought hard and then I suddenly realised oh, I have so many qualities of a certain animal who I would love to have as a pet. This choice of an animal to be was inspired by the movie Rio. Rio is an animated movie about a rare bird called blu. In the movie, blu is one of a kind who is stolen from his owner by smugglers. The owner who is a woman decides to go after the smugglers with her boyfriend.
Now, blu who is a male bird is surprisingly not able to fly due to fear. His owner tried to help him to fly but it all proved fatal. The movie is a test of character of both parties. Now if you have watched the animated movie you will understand why I choose to be blu. Blu is a bird called a Macau.
Now it’s clear that I want to be a bird; more specifically a Macau. And these are the reasons why I will want to be a Macau.
First of all, blu portrayed certain qualities that I have. He also portrayed certain qualities I’ve wanted to have or should I say strived to have all this while. Blu, in the movie, showed us that we should have courage and always do it until we are perfect.
In the movie, blu is not able to fly due to certain reasons. His owner takes him around vets to help him find that touch but all their efforts do not work. But when blu gets stolen and manages to escape learning how to fly becomes his only option. Learning how to fly required a lot of courage cause he never flew in his entire life.
The first point was not relevant to the reason I will wanna be a bird but I think it’s equally important to add it.

I will want to be a bird because I want to be free. One thing I’ve always loved about birds is that they ate never at one place. Because of their flying ability, they can explore and go around without any difficulty. They fly at will and go around. Am a free person, I like moving about and with wings, I think I will explore the whole world lol. I will be in China today and then the next day you will find me in Ghana lol.
One other thing I love about birds is their survival instinct. We can all agree that they are small but their survival instincts are top-notch. If I ever want to be an animal I have to be ready to be hunted so am pretty sure I will one that one instinct that they have.
One other thing I love about a Macau is that it's pretty, why will I want to be an ugly bird? If I should be a bird I should be pretty as fuck. In that case even when I am captured the hunter wouldn't wanna kill me hehe. he will treat me nice and keep me as a trophy.
I don’t have a lot of things to say why I like a bird so much but I think the little I’ve said is enough to describe why I will love to be a bird. The decision was inspired by blu. After watching the movie(some time ago) I think being a Macau bird won’t be bad hehe.
