Greetings!
One thing about lessons is that they are meant to be learnt and while learning, one must be determined to understand the message of the lesson being learnt.
However, the place where we learn lessons doesn't matter to me, the only thing that matters to me is how well we are making use of the lesson. So, whether you learn your own life lesson within or outside the four walls of the classroom doesn't make a difference, what makes a difference is you make good use of what you've learnt about life and its lessons.

Having talked about lessons and how they should be learnt, I would like to share with us one of those lessons I have learnt outside the four walls of the classroom and its usefulness to my life.
Although I'm a graduate of philosophy, my philosophy about life is beyond what i have been taught or what learnt within the school curriculum. In philosophy, we were taught many things about logic and the like but those things taught have not been able to help me in the real sense of life.
Though, these things have also contributed to my life in one way or the other but they have not actually given me the cutting edge about life.
However, self belief/resilience is one of the out of school lessons I have learnt that is keeping me going in the journey of my life. This out of school lesson has really helped me to reach the height I'm currently at now.
But this lesson could have come to me on a platter of gold hadn't it been as a result of what life challenges taught me itself.
Some time ago, immediately after my my university graduation, I decided to ventured into a business and it's in the course of the business that I lost every of my investments and this incident led me to losing my self reposed confidence and as a result, I couldn't do anything pertaining to investment or business again just because of the failure that greeted my first business attempt. This was what led me to depression and lack of self belief in my ability.
So, after the collapse in my business strategy that resulted in my loss of confidence, I went off the grid and stayed low for years. But while reading a book, I came across a particular quote which says, “quitters never win and winners never quit.” Although I have heard about these quotes before, I have never understood it, but with what I was passing through, this quote captured my mind and I ruminated on it and it's through the message of the quote that my self confidence comes back.
So, with what I have learnt from the quote, I was able to roar back to life in self belief. So, I came off the grid and decided to make some strategic moves with the belief that I would not fail the second time.
Even though I had nothing to start with, with my strategic moves, I was able to raise funds for myself through the help of friends and family members. When I saw that the raised fund would not be enough for me to start again, I applied for a loan and I was granted the loan. All these wouldn't have happened if not for the self belief.

So, after i have gathered everything needed to start up again, I started the business and with the help of the lesson life had taught me I was able to overcome the challenges that rose up against me the second time and immediately after I have overcome the challenges, I made a significant progress in the business and now the rest is history as I have really made fortune through the out of the school lesson the challenges of life had taught me which is self belief and resilience.
In conclusion, not everything we need is being taught in school, there's something that the challenges of life itself will teach us. The only thing for us to do is to pay attention to the life lesson and make significant use of it.
