Being able to pursue your goals and achieve great results despite being faced with daunting circumstances can be very difficult but in the end, there will definitely be shouts of victory.
It was August last year, during the rainy season . This was one of the most challenging periods for me in school and looking back at how everything played out, I'm most grateful to God.
I was experiencing some accommodation and financial challenges. I had to move in shortly with my coursemate who was a very nice but also a very reserved lady and had to obey all her rules in order for us to live peacefully. In addition, my exams were fast approaching which required me to pay my fees but much more than that, be cool, calm headed and prepare well for them.
From coming back late from lectures, coupled with house hunting, going back and forth from the two other houses my personal belongings were that I had to separate because of the recent flood that occurred. None of those two places could individually accommodate all my stuff neither could my course mate's house.
Inspite of all these, I needed to wake up in the early hours of the day to study my books, mostly around 2am. I was usually very exhausted after the days work moreover 12 hours of sleep couldn't even be enough to rest and refresh my body but I had to make that sacrifice.

A week to my exams, I had a test to sit for so I began preparing for it in conjunction with my exams.
On the day of the test, at exactly 5am in the morning, thieves broke into my house when I and my course mate were brushing ourselves for the test that day and made away with my smart phone while it was charging at the socket.... 🥺
My course mate cried for the space of 2 hours when I went screaming "thief, theif" but to no avail. The phone was gone with all my lecture slides, e copy textbooks leaving me with nothing to browse, do my assignments, read or communicate with.
Well, I had to finish up my revision and go take my test that day. I muzzled up all the courage in me to look beyond what happened earlier and focus on the test and upcoming exams.
In the end, later got my own place and did great in my exams plus I got a new and much better smartphone a month later..
It was one big milestone for me.

This experience taught me to be courageous admist the severe circumstances. I learnt to square my shoulders, chest out, chin up, look forward and move forward to greater days ahead.
I also learnt to always back up my school files in multiple devices and on the cloud also so I could always get them back incase such felony should happen.
Till next time...stay strong💪❣
