Friends, Happy Wednesday everyone.
Today cannot be said to be a good day but the weather was much better and the nature was quite cold today. But the city roads were heavily congested, due to which the feeling was not very good. To tell the truth, common people have to suffer a lot in the journey.
Today is Wednesday so today is the day for me to enjoy the taste of fish. That said I try to enjoy special recipes on special days. So today we cooked fish at our house. Although most of the time I make veggie recipes that are vegan.
Today I will share one of my favorite fish recipe Tengra fish. Although these fish are small in appearance, their taste is much higher than that of larger fish. But I cooked them a little differently. That is, I made the recipe with fresh amaranth from my vegetable garden. The cooking was very good because of the fresh vegetables from the garden.
In fact, fish recipes taste better with any fresh vegetables. So I cooked fish with amaranth from my own garden, so the taste of cooking was much better. Tengra fish is very popular in our country, because this fish recipe goes very well with any vegetable.
Recipe Ingredients-
- Tengra fish
- Amaranth
- Potatoes
- Tomatoes
- Onion
- Raw chilies
- Coriander leaves
- Turmeric powder
- Chilli powder
- Cumin powder
- Coriander powder
- salt
- Oil.
Preparation phase-
First I cleaned the fish, then I rubbed it with turmeric, pepper and salt and then I heated oil and fried it.
Then I chopped onions in hot oil and fried them lightly. After that I grinded it with light water along with all the spices.
After that, I sliced Amaranth and potato, mixed it with masala and added tomato slices with it.
Then I added water for the broth, added the fried fish and covered it with a lid for some time.
Then I added green chillies and coriander leaves, reduced the amount of broth and took it for serving.
Ready to serve, different flavor recipe of Tengra Fish with Amaranth, Potato, Tomato. A multi-vegetable recipe with fish is quite popular in our region and is accompanied by some broth.
