As much as we all always seek complete happiness, that we are happy at all times with our personal, professional and love life, we know that this is practically impossible, because, using as a good example, our life is like a Ferris wheel or roller coaster, just like these amusement park rides.
I really like to use one of these two as an example, because if you stop to notice, your general movement is always done in the same place, but, if we fix our eyes on a Ferris wheel cabin or on the seats of a roller coaster, we can notice that this particular point will always have something in common: at one point it will be at a high point and at another at a low part and this faithfully represents life, in its good and bad moments.

So, it becomes normal to have moments of despair, helplessness and deep sadness, because life is like that, a tangle of experiences that, in my opinion, will always be like this, some good and others bad and everything is part of essential learning, for our lives.
When She Left Me
I believe that sticking to the word helplessness, my greatest example, that is, the one that has impacted me the most so far, was a situation of deep love that I felt during my adolescence, which, as we all know, is one of the times in which we have the our most intense and insane moments, whether for the good or bad side of what we will feel. I already mentioned it once, a long time ago here at Hive, about a girl that I chased after for about 4 or 5 years and well, in the end it didn't work out.
But you must be wondering, because the subtitle is called “when she left me”, right? After many adventures trying to win over this girl, many difficulties, tears, moments of fury and sadness, I had managed to leave her aside and move on with my life, it was an important moment of overcoming for me. Only here I had already been through countless bad situations, of total helplessness and sadness, but life is often unfair and obviously what is bad can get worse.

After about 6 months in which I had completely cut ties with this girl, I had deleted her number and I didn't even remember what it was, so she called me and I answered, because I really didn't know it was her. So, after a very friendly conversation, which I found strange, she asked if there was a chance for us to finally date. That's right, after 5 years of chasing, another 6 months, we were only now going to date, so you can see the situations we sometimes subject ourselves to.
I, all silly and innocent, obviously accepted it, it was everything I wanted most in my life, at that moment, finally the cabin of my ferris wheel was at the top and everything would be like a Disney movie, the dream come true. No, it was not. I think we lasted about 2 or 3 months and then, one beautiful day, she came to me and said she needed to break up with me, that she had called me and talked about dating just to have me around, but that she really didn't love me or nothing of the sort.

Helplessness
Needless to say, I felt bad, really bad, I didn't want to leave the house, I didn't want to leave my room, I spent weeks without talking to anyone, just my mother, I didn't eat properly, I was very sad and I often started cry out of nowhere. And the funniest thing is that no matter how much the person you love is the one who plays with your feelings, the feeling of guilt stays with us, with myself, so I looked in the mirror and thought: what's wrong with me? I'm ugly? Am I weird? Am I a bad person?
This feeling of guilt was the worst, because, deep down, I knew that I wasn't to blame, but the thoughts, the anguish in my heart, the desire to cry all the time, I loved that girl, I dreamed about wedding things, family and children, but at that moment my world had fallen apart, I had to take the truth pill: she didn't love me and that was it, she just played with what she felt, she just wanted a guy to be her escape valve.

It was like that for several days, time seemed to have stopped and I had apparently lost myself somewhere in it, the days all seemed the same, dull, without any motivation for anything, but slowly, things returned to normal, the bitter reality I started to come back, life moved on. Even though the emptiness in my heart remained for a long time and that feeling that I was a muggle, I knew it was like a wound that would heal at some point.
Overcoming
I know I've extended the text a lot, but I'm in a great position to comment on this bad phase in my life. I believe that the tip I can give with my learning is to give it time and that's what I did, I tried to occupy my mind with other things like games, reading, anime, series, I talked to some of my closest friends and also with family. Family is essential in these moments, my mother gave me all the support I needed in these bad days.
Acceptance of defeat, that what I wanted wouldn't happen was painful, but it was necessary at all costs, as I needed to focus on getting up and looking ahead, it was more than agreed that I couldn't stay there, just crying and thinking it was rubbish, it was necessary to emphasize that it wasn't my fault. Love has these things, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and that's what we need to understand, no matter how much it hurts.

So with that, after a few years (the process is slow, everyone has their own time) I can say that I have overcome it, that I feel good and at peace with what happened. Today I can understand that it was a bad phase in my life, I have overcome it and today I am happy with my wife and children. Like a ferris wheel, it's natural to be down at one moment, but with the certainty that at some other moment, we'll be at the high end of life.

Por mais que todos busquemos sempre a felicidade completa, que a todo momento estejamos felizes com a nossa vida pessoal, profissional e amorosa, sabemos que isso é praticamente impossível, pois, usando como um bom exemplo, a nossa vida é como uma roda gigante ou montanha-russa, exatamente como estes brinquedos de parque de diversões.
Gosto muito de utilizar algum destes dois como exemplo, pois se você parar para perceber, a sua movimentação geral é sempre feita no mesmo lugar, mas, se fixamos o olho em uma cabine da roda gigante ou nos assentos da montanha-russa, podemos perceber que este ponto em especial sempre irá fazer algo em comum: em dado momento estará em uma parte alta e em outro na parte de baixo e isso representa fielmente a vida, em seus momentos bons e ruins.

Então, torna-se normal termos os momentos de desespero, desamparo e tristeza profunda, pois a vida é assim, um emaranhado de experiências que, na minha opinião, serão sempre assim, algumas boas e outras ruins e tudo faz parte de um aprendizado essencial para nossas vidas.
Quando Ela Me Deixou
Acredito que se apegando a palavra desamparo, o meu maior exemplo, ou seja, aquele que mais me marcou até o momento foi uma situação de amor profundo que senti na época de adolescência, que como todos sabemos, é uma das épocas na qual temos os nossos momentos mais intensos e insanos, seja para o lado bom ou ruim do que sentiremos. Já comentei por cima uma vez, há muito tempo aqui na Hive, sobre uma menina na qual fiquei uns 4 ou 5 anos correndo atrás e bem, no final não deu certo.
Só que você deve estar se perguntando, porque o subtítulo se chama “quando ela me deixou”, não é mesmo? Depois de muitas aventuras para tentar conquistar essa garota, de muitas dificuldades, choro, momentos de fúria e tristeza, eu havia conseguido deixar ela de lado e seguido a minha vida, foi um momento importante de superação para mim. Só aqui já havia passado por inúmeras situações ruins, de total desamparado e tristeza, mas a vida é muitas vezes injusta e obviamente o que está ruim pode piorar.

Após uns 6 meses no qual havia cortado totalmente as relações com essa garota, eu havia excluído o número dela e nem lembrava mais qual era, então ela me ligou e eu atendi, porque realmente não sabia que era ela. Então, depois de uma conversa amistosa até demais, no qual estranhei, ela perguntou se não haveria a chance de nós finalmente namorarmos. Isso mesmo, depois de 5 anos correndo atrás, mais uns 6 meses, apenas agora iriamos namorar, para vocês verem as situações que nos sujeitamos às vezes.
Eu, todo bobo e inocente, obviamente aceitei, era tudo o que eu mais queria na minha vida, naquele momento, finalmente a cabine da minha roda gigante estava na parte de cima e tudo iria ser como um filme da Disney, o sonho realizado. Não, não foi. Acho que duramos uns 2 ou 3 meses e com isso, em um lindo dia, ela chegou em mim e disse precisar terminar comigo, que havia me ligado e falado em namoro apenas para me ter por perto, mas que realmente não me amava e nem nada do tipo.

Desamparo
Nem preciso dizer que fiquei mal, muito mal mesmo, não queria sair de casa, não queria sair do meu quarto, foram semanas sem conversar com ninguém, só com a minha mãe, não me alimentava direito, fiquei muito triste e muitas vezes começava a chorar do nada. E o mais engraçado é que por mais que a pessoa que você ame seja a que brinca com seus sentimentos, a sensação de culpa fica conosco, comigo mesmo, então eu me olhava no espelho e ficava pensando: o que tem de errado comigo? Sou feio? Sou estranho? Será que sou uma pessoa ruim?
Esse sentimento de culpa era o pior, porque, no fundo, sabia que eu não era o culpado, mas, os pensamentos, a angústia no coração, a vontade de chorar a todo momento, eu amava aquela garota, sonhava com as coisas de casamento, família e filhos, mas, naquele momento meu mundo tinha caído, tinha que tomar o comprimido da verdade: ela não me amava e era isso, só brincou com o que sentia, só queria um cara para ser a sua válvula de escape.

Foi assim por vários dias, o tempo parece que havia parado e aparentemente havia me perdido em algum lugar dele, os dias pareciam todos iguais, sem graça, sem motivação nenhuma para nada, mas, lentamente, as coisas voltavam ao normal, a realidade amarga começava a voltar, a vida seguia em frente. Apesar do vazio no coração ter ficado por um bom tempo ainda e aquele sentimento de que eu era um trouxa, sabia que era como um machucado que iria cicatrizar em algum momento.
Superação
Sei que estendi muito o texto, mas estou super bem para comentar sobre essa fase ruim da minha vida. Acredito que a dica que posso passar com o meu aprendizado é dar tempo ao tempo e foi isso que fiz, tentei ocupar a cabeça com outras coisas como jogos, leituras, animes, series, conversava com alguns amigos mais íntimos e também com a família. A família é essencial nestes momentos, a minha mãe me deu todo o apoio que eu precisava nestes dias ruins.
A aceitação da derrota, de que o que eu queria não iria acontecer foi dolorosa, mas era necessário a todo custo, pois precisava me concentrar em levantar e olhar para frente, era mais do que acertado que não poderia ficar ali, somente chorando e me achando um lixo, era preciso enfatizar que a culpa não era minha. O amor têm dessas coisas, as vezes da certo e as vezes não e é isso que precisamos entender, por mais que doa.

Então com isso, depois de alguns anos (o processo é lento, cada um têm o seu tempo) posso dizer que superei, que me sinto bem e tranquilo com o que aconteceu. Hoje consigo entender que foi uma fase ruim da minha vida, superada e hoje estou feliz com a minha esposa e meus filhos. Como uma roda gigante, é natural em um momento estarmos para baixo, mas, com a certeza de que em algum outro momento, estaremos na parte alta da vida.
