Having a legal, cool and respectful job, where you can perform a profession, have a livelihood for yourself or your family, is the dream of many people who face the challenges of life and everything it contains on a daily basis. Bills never wait, bills, taxes, government charges, all of this will always find you somehow and, therefore, you need to work to be able to support yourself, have the money coming from somewhere, correctly and honestly, obviously, to be able to pay for all of this. But what happens when work becomes a bad thing?
You've probably heard of Burnout Syndrome, since in recent years the word Burnout has become much more well-known and is being shared more frequently on social media or even in real life, with people commenting on it. In short, this syndrome is the extreme exhaustion of an employee in the company, which makes them feel bad, with acute symptoms of mental and physical fatigue, muscle pain, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, among many other negative aspects. So, this problem is something that can happen to anyone who needs to work to survive.
As society has evolved, what was once often called a whim has gained a name and space, and with that, new techniques and actions to try to prevent employees from falling into this problem related to mental health have also arrived over time. One of the main things that I believe should be developed and done is workload management, thus avoiding overloading a single person who usually has more than one role in the company. Having a pleasant physical space also helps, we know how a messy and chaotic place can be bad for us, days off and breaks, in addition to creating guidelines for professional growth in the company.
UnsplashThese are just a few points, there are several others that we could put into practice, but one thing that, for example, I know is missing a lot in the company where I work: recognition and appreciation, I think that everyone who likes to work (I am like that) likes to have their recognition, to know that what they did was good and that it helped in some way, for this reason, I am being recognized for actually being able to deliver something that helped the company. I believe that there are many ways to make employees happy and less overwhelmed in the company, but the owner needs to understand this.
I believe that a happy employee is much more productive than one who is unhappy or has negative thoughts about the company. When you manage to implement initiatives that make them happy to be there, in that environment, I am sure that their main feeling is to do more and deliver more, precisely because this is a way of thanking them for their evolution in the company, in addition to a friendly environment that makes them thrive.
When a boss understands this and really takes actions aimed at the well-being of the employee, this certainly makes the entire company better and more productive, creating a quality and pleasant environment, making everyone really want to do more and deliver more projects or activities. Needless to say, large companies take the well-being of their employees seriously, they are always surrounded by good news, great recommendations and high profits.

Ter um trabalho legal, bacana e respeitoso, no qual você possa desempenhar uma profissão, ter o sustento para você ou a sua família, é o sonho de muitas pessoas que diariamente enfrentam os desafios da vida e tudo o que nela contem. As contas nunca esperam, os boletos, os impostos, a cobrança do governo, tudo isso sempre vai achar você de alguma forma e, por isso, você precisa trabalhar para conseguir se sustentar, ter o dinheiro vindo de algum lugar, de forma correta e honesta, obviamente, para conseguir pagar tudo isso. Mas, e quando o trabalho se torna algo ruim?
Você provavelmente já ouviu falar em Síndrome de Burnout, já que, de alguns anos para cá, essa palavra Burnout ficou muito mais conhecida e sendo compartilhada com mais frequência em redes sociais ou até mesmo na realidade, com as pessoas comentando sobre ela. Em resumo, essa síndrome é a exaustão máxima de um colaborador na empresa, que faz com que ele se sinta mal, com sintomas agudos de cansaço mental e físico, dores musculares, pensamentos suicidas, insonia, dentre vários outros pontos negativos. Então, esse problema é algo que pode acontecer com qualquer um que precise trabalhar para sobreviver.
Com a evolução da sociedade, o que antes muitas vezes era chamado de frescura ganhou nome e espaço e, com isso, novas técnicas e ações para tentar evitar que os funcionários entrem neste problema relacionado com a saúde mental também chegaram com o tempo. Uma das principais coisas que acredito que devem ser elaboradas e feitas é a gerência da carga de trabalho, evitando assim a sobrecarga de uma única pessoa que, geralmente, tem mais de uma função na empresa. Ter um espaço físico agradável também ajuda, sabemos como um lugar bagunçado e caótico pode nos fazer mal, dias de folga e pausa, além de criar diretrizes de crescimento profissional na empresa.
UnsplashEstes são somente alguns pontos, existem vários outros que poderíamos colocar em prática, mas uma coisa que, por exemplo, sei que falta muito na empresa onde trabalho: reconhecimento e valorização, acho que todo mundo que gosta de trabalhar (sou assim) gosta de ter o seu reconhecimento, saber que o que fez foi bom e isso ajudou em algo, por esse motivo, estou sendo reconhecido por realmente conseguir entregar algo que ajudou na empresa. Acredito que ações para um funcionário ficar feliz e menos sobrecarregado na empresa não faltam, mas o dono da mesma precisa entender isso.
Sou a favor de que um colaborador feliz rende muito mais do que um que está infeliz ou com pensamentos negativos sobre a empresa. Quando você consegue aplicar iniciativas que o deixem feliz em estar ali, naquele ambiente, tenho certeza de que o sentimento principal dele é fazer mais e entregar mais, por justamente assim ser uma forma de agradecer a sua evolução na empresa, além de um ambiente amigável e que o faça prosperar.
Quando um patrão entende isso e faz realmente ações voltadas para o bem-estar do colaborador, isso com certeza faz com que a empresa toda se torne melhor e mais produtiva, criando um ambiente de qualidade e agradável, fazendo com que todos tenham realmente a vontade de fazer mais e entregar mais projetos ou atividades. Nem preciso dizer que grandes empresas levam a sério o bem-estar do seu colaborador, sempre são rodeadas de boas notícias, ótimas recomendações e lucros elevados.
