Today we will talk about certainties of life! One of the certainties I have about myself is that I will never be vegan. You can try to convince me, prove that it is healthier (or not), in short, you can try everything, but I can't imagine my life without eating meat, I think this is part of me and practically every Brazilian, eating the most diverse meats, whether in a good barbecue or made at home in the pans, it doesn't matter, for me a healthy diet has to include meat.
First of all, my opinion is that being vegan or completely carnivorous, if possible, will not be entirely good, because it involves the issues of balance that I always talk about and comment on here in my texts. With that, I believe that if we only eat vegetables and vegetables, something will be missing in our body, some protein or element that we only find in meat. I didn't research this to write the text, but I remember that I've seen some reports and podcasts that talk about this, I have this vague memory that Avoiding meat will obviously leave you deficient in some element that your body needs.
Just as I imagine that if the focus is on eating only meals full of salt and meat, it will also do us some harm, for example, when we also avoid vegetables, greens and fruits, this will certainly increase the chances of having some health problem in the future, after all, our diet needs to be balanced, there needs to be a balance between eating the treats we love and consuming foods that have a bad taste or texture, but are rich in some element that our body needs to function better.
UnsplashI don't think I could be vegan even if I wanted to, because sometimes I've already tried to go on diets, change my diet and well, I couldn't, because of my busy life, the high price of healthier foods, "light or diet", all of this makes it difficult for us to have a healthy life healthier. I always joke about this subject, because I usually say that the system wants you to eat “fast food”, be fat and in poor health, so, to be “thin” or well defined, it's expensive, the healthiest foods cost more than rice, beans, pasta and normal meats, that's why I always say this, having a healthy life is expensive.
So, putting these points together, I really don't like the idea of restricting something I like to eat, if I like a food, I go there and eat it, that's what I want to do and that's what I do. Of course I also like good things, like watermelon, orange, apple, pear, plum, tomato, lettuce, bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, are some examples, but I also like meat and other things prepared with it, so I don't see it as normal for someone to only eat this type of thing or that other type of thing, unless it is a medical recommendation. So no! I am certain that I will continue eating what I like, trying to balance my diet a little more, which I know is bad, too much sweetness, too much salt, not enough greens, but I need to improve this and I try to really change this every day.

Hoje falaremos sobre certezas da vida! Uma dessas certezas que tenho sobre a minha pessoa é que nunca serei vegano. Podem tentar me convencer, provar que é mais saudável (ou não), enfim, podem tentar de tudo, mas eu não consigo imaginar a minha sem comer carne, acho que isso faz parte de mim e de praticamente quase todo brasileiro, comer as mais diversas carnes, seja em um bom churrasco ou feito em casa com as panelas, não importa, para mim uma alimentação saudável tem que incluir carne.
Em primeiro lugar, a minha opinião é que ser vegano ou totalmente carnívoro se assim for possível não fará totalmente bem, porque entra nas questões de equilíbrio que vivo falando e comentando aqui nos meus textos. Com isso, acredito que se a gente comer apenas vegetais e legumes, algo ficará faltando em nosso corpo, alguma proteína ou elemento que só encontramos nas carnes. Não cheguei a pesquisar isso para escrever o texto, mas lembro que já vi algumas reportagens e podcasts em que falam isso, tenho essa vaga lembrança de que evitar carne obviamente vai te trazer deficiência em algum elemento necessário para o seu corpo.
Assim como imagino que se o foco for em comer apenas refeições lotadas de sal e carnes, também ira fazer algum mal para nós, por exemplo, quando evitamos também os legumes, verduras e frutas, isso com certeza aumentará as chances de termos algum problema de saúde no futuro, afinal, a nossa alimentação precisa ser balanceada, precisa existir um equilíbrio entre comer as guloseimas que amamos e consumir os alimentos que têm um gosto ou textura ruins, mas são ricos em algum elemento que nosso corpo precisa para funcionar melhor.
UnsplashPenso que não consigo ser vegano nem se eu quisesse, pois vez ou outra já tentei fazer dietas, mudar a alimentação e bem, não consegui, por conta da vida corrida, o valor alto dos alimentos mais saudáveis, “lights ou diets”, tudo isso complica a gente em ter uma vida mais saudável. Eu sempre brinco com esse assunto, porque costumo falar que o sistema quer você comendo “fast foods”, gordo e com a saúde precária, então, para ser “magro” ou bem definido, custa caro, os alimentos mais saudáveis custam mais do que um arroz, feijão, macarrão e carnes normais, por isso sempre falo isso, ter uma vida saudável custa caro.
Então unindo esses pontos, não gosto mesmo da ideia de restringir algo que gosto de comer, se gosto de um alimento, vou lá e como ele, é isso que quero fazer e é isso que eu faço. Claro que gosto também de coisas boas, como melancia, laranja, maçã, pera, ameixa, tomate, alface, pimentão, cenoura, repolho, são alguns exemplos, mas gosto também de carne e outras coisas preparadas com ela, então não vejo como normal alguém que só com esse tipo de coisa ou aquele outro tipo de coisa, a menos que seja uma recomendação medica.
Portanto, não! Minha certeza é que continuarei comendo o que gosto, tentando equilibrar um pouco mais minha alimentação que sei que é ruim, muita coisa doce, muito sal, pouco verde, mas preciso melhorar isso e tento a cada dia realmente mudar isso.
