After purchase from Twitter, which became X by billionaire Elon Musk, a topic has become quite frequent on web2 social networks: can a person so rich interfere wherever he wants? Can he create or remove rules and laws in places, or then move the masses with your comments and ideas? Brazil is currently experiencing a war focused on this type of question. After all, as a defender of freedom of expression and liberties, Brazil is experiencing some episodes of censorship on X that go exactly against what Elon Musk thinks.
Of course, the subject of this post is not exactly about that, but it is related: how rich can a person be? A millionaire, a billionaire or even on their way to becoming the first trillionaire like Elon Musk? This is something that should be changed, hypothetically there should be a Is there a worldwide law or rule that people can only have X amount of money in their assets? Even if she has the ability to make tons of money, should there be a limit to the amount she can earn?
To me, the answer is quite simple. and direct: no! We cannot limit people from becoming rich, from being rewarded for something incredible that they created or did, this idea even works with Hive, so we should limit how much a whale or a well-known person here can earn ? I also don't think so, if her work is serious and focused, there is always an opportunity to earn more and be rewarded with much more because of her effort and hard work in improving everything around her.
UnsplashI am an assiduous defender of freedoms, of course I am not stupid, there must be laws and rules for society to live in peace (or at least try to) and focused on progress, without laws and rules, we would succumb to pure chaos, wars, deaths and violence. Wanting freedom is not the same as wanting chaos, in my view these are very different things. So, as much as there are filthy rich people the way there are in our world, I don't think that's wrong, I don't think anything should be done to limit these people. They fought, they chased their dreams to get where they are and all this money is perhaps how they like to be rewarded.
On the other hand, if they can help humanity in some way with this money, it will also be very welcome, whether by creating new applications, methods, teaching models, helping NGOs really serious, orphanages, sponsoring social projects that take young people out of the world of drugs and violence, all of this just makes that person even more incredible and special to our entire planet. There is a saying that goes “there are people so poor that they only have money”, then these beings provided with so much wealth can show that they are different from that, when they use their personal fortune to promote the collective good.
This was even the subject of another edition of Hive Learners, on the issue of helping, I believe that it is much better for the person to help because they really want to help, than because a part of the population “demands” that for the simple fact of When a guy becomes a millionaire he becomes “obliged” to help people. The money is his, he fought to get it, he can help if he wants and that’s it. Let’s take the whales back to the Hive, those who have the highest HP in the entire network (as shown in the image below) are they obliged to delegate HP to all the Hive fish just because they have millions of Hive staked? Simply no!

Após a compra do Twitter, que se tornou o X pelo bilionário Elon Musk, uma pauta tem se tornado bastante frequente nas redes sociais da web2: uma pessoa tão rica assim, pode interferir aonde ela bem deseja? Pode criar ou remover regras e leis nos lugares, ou então mover as massas com seus comentários e ideias? O Brasil vive uma guerra atualmente pautada a esse tipo de pergunta, afinal, como defensor da liberdade de expressão e das liberdades, o Brasil está tendo alguns episódios de censuras no X que vão justamente contra o que pensa Elon Musk.
Claro que o assunto dessa postagem não é exatamente sobre isso, mas têm relação: o quanto uma pessoa pode ser rica? Milionária, bilionária ou então até mesmo estar caminhando para se tornar o primeiro trilionário como Elon Musk? Isso é algo que deveria ser mudado, hipoteticamente deveria haver uma lei ou regra mundial que as pessoas só podem ter um X limite de dinheiro em seu patrimônio? Mesmo que ela tenha capacidade de ganhar rios de dinheiro, deveria haver um teto para esse valor que ela possa obter?
Para mim, a resposta é bem simples e direta: não! Não podemos limitar as pessoas de se tornarem ricas, de serem recompensadas por algo incrível que elas criaram ou fizeram, essa ideia funciona até mesmo com a Hive, deveremos limitar então o quanto uma baleia ou uma pessoa conhecida aqui possa ganhar? Também acho que não, se o trabalho dela é sério e focado, sempre existe uma oportunidade de ganhar mais de ser recompensado com muito mais por conta de seu esforço e trabalho duro em melhorar tudo ao que está o seu redor.
UnsplashSou defensor assíduo das liberdades, claro que não sou burro, precisa existir leis e regras para a sociedade viver em paz (ou pelo menos tentar) e voltada ao progresso, sem leis e regras, sucumbiríamos ao puro caos, guerras, mortes e violência. Desejar liberdade não é o mesmo que desejar o caos, isso na minha visão são coisas bem diferentes. Portanto, por mais que existam pessoas podres de ricas da forma como existe em nosso mundo, não acho que isso é errado, não acho que deveria ser feito algo para limitar essas pessoas. Elas lutaram, correram atrás de seus sonhos para chegar aonde chegaram e todo esse dinheiro talvez seja como elas gostem de ser recompensadas.
Por outro lado, se elas puderem auxiliar a humanidade de alguma forma com esse dinheiro, também será super bem-vindo, seja criando novos aplicativos, métodos, modelos de ensino, ajudando ONGs realmente serias, orfanatos, patrocinando projetos sociais que tirem os jovens do mundo das drogas e da violência, tudo isso apenas torna essa pessoa ainda mais incrível e especial para todo o nosso planeta. Existe um ditado que diz que “existem pessoas tão pobres que elas têm somente dinheiro”, então estes seres providos de tantas riquezas podem mostrar que são diferentes disso, quando, usam de sua fortuna pessoal para justamente promover o bem coletivo.
Isso até foi assunto de outra edição do Hive Learners, sobre o quesito ajudar, acredito que seja bem melhor a pessoa ajudar porque realmente quer ajudar, do que porque uma parte da população “cobrar” que pelo simples fato do cara ser milionário ele se torna “obrigado” a auxiliar as pessoas. O dinheiro é dele, ele batalhou para conseguir, ele ajuda se quiser e ponto final. Levemos para a Hive novamente, as baleias, aqueles que possuem o maior HP de toda a rede (como mostra a imagem abaixo) eles são obrigados a delegar HP para todos os peixinhos da Hive só porque têm milhões de Hive em stake? Simplesmente não!
HivebuzzPor fim, é isso, não acho que devemos ser obrigados a ajudar só porque temos muito dinheiro e muito menos devemos limitar um gênio, um inventor, um artista, um jogador de futebol, a uma certa quantia de patrimônio, apenas porque quem não consegue chegar no mesmo patamar não gosta e sente um desconforto com isso, isso soa mais como inveja do que qualquer outra coisa.
