I am the kind of person that loves visiting places and going out, and at the same time, I also love staying in my room with my computer connected to the internet without going out for days. I have been in Ogun state for about 5 years now, and I have not in a single moment thought of visiting one of the largest rock in Africa (Argue with your keypads) and I have been in the same state as where this rock is located.
At a time when I was discussing with @creativepearl about places we have visited, she got to know I haven't been to Olumo rock before. I was at first making jest of her that she hasn't not been to places more than I am since she is less of an outing person than me. This was how she said she must take me there and how I finally made it to visit Oluwo rock.
Olumo rock is located in Abeokuta Ogun state and it is about 137 meters above the ground. Even the city where the rock is located derived itโs name from the existence of that rock.
The name "Abeokuta" means Under the Rock in Yoruba Language. So many years ago, people usually live in the rock or more like hide in the rock for safety from wars.
I visited this place two weeks ago with @creativepearl and been procrastinating writing this article but this time, I chose to push asides any form of procrastination.
This picture was taken when we entered the gate leading to the rock. Before we could enter, we both had to pay an entrance fee of #1000 before we were allowed to set in.

In the images above @creativepearl was trying to pay for our entrance tickets.

When we entered, we needed to take pictures together so I had to secretly use my abilities to propel my phone in the air while I take pictures with Olawumi. By the way @creativepearl real name is Olawumi.
No one was around so I made good use of my telekinesis.
I am 100% sure you donโt believe what I just told you so let me tell the truth. Immediately we entered the gate, a man approached us that he wants to be our tour guide and would also love to assist us take pictures.
Then he asked if he could use his camera then send the photos to us later but I rejected because what do you I have a phone on my hand for. Also, he would definitely charge us more if he uses his camera. So I told him he could use my phone since my camera is of good quality.
So he gave me some personal cool shots. You can see them below:

The first image above is the one I love best. I look really handsome in that picture. It was exactly how I wanted the picture to look when I made the pose.

After taking these pictures we went into the art shop. I think there is a name they call the place but I have forgotten. You can tell me in the comments section. Check the images below:

These two artwork beside me were very expensive. The one that looks like antelope had a price tag of $3000 and the other one had a price tag of about $4000. I didnโt remember to snap their price tag but I was scared after seeing it.
I had to be careful to make sure I donโt drop those artworks mistakenly because they were worth more than my net worth all together.
I really have nothing asides what I have on Hive.

While checking through the artworks, I was drawn to the portrait drawings. They were beautiful and I immediately thought of taking a shot with the drawings.
We saw the green chair and wanted to sit but it was boldly written DO NO SIT on it.
Now you are wondering why we SAT on it? So let me tell you why.
The person in charge on the place saw I was a superhuman and had no other way of stopping from not sitting on the chair. So they backed off ๐ ๐๐ . I have telekinesis abilities. Do you remember?
Oh I wish! ๐ ๐๐
The guy in charge liked my vibe because when I entered the place, I greeted him and had a joking conversation with him. It was a short conversation but it felt as if we had met before or like we already knew ourselves.
So he just told me, I should remove the sign and sit but we should not break it or we buy it as it is part of the things for sale.
When he said it was part of the things for sale, my mind was trying to guess how much that seat could be since I could not find itโs price tag. If I am to guess, it could end up being priced at the range of $300 to $500 the way it is.
Then hunger kicked in ๐ ๐
I remembered I had not eaten anything since morning and it was 1pm in the afternoon. We had to finish the canteen beside the Art shop to find something to eat.
When we entered the canteen, I ordered for jollof rice, plantain, egg, beef and an energy drink. The energy drink was needed because I knew I would need the energy to climb the rock.
I told pearl to take me some photos of me with the food.

The food was cold and didnโt go well in my mouth. I had no choice than to eat it since I was really hungry and no other place was close by to get food.
We waited for a while after eating for the food to digest before we set on to climb the rock.
We took the photos below when we were about climbing.

I do not intend to write a very long post since there are still hundred's pictures in my gallery to share. So I would continue the story in another post or @creativepearl would probably do that.
See you all later. โ
