Unlike most weekends, this past weekend was very nice because of a simple change in my daily routine. For me, the weekends are like the busiest, even more busy than my week days becaue I spend most of it in church activities and having little time for rest compared to my week days.
So what made this weekend nicer than my past weekends, what was that simple change?
I bet you really want to know?
Yeah the change was that I had time to hang out with @creativepearl yesterday on Sunday before she travelled back home. It was not something that I planned before hand but I was glad that it was able to happen.
I was still playing guitar on the stage for a short shoot the church wanted to record down for their online service when Pearl was leaving for home. I could see her wave at me while I was playing the guitar. In my mind, I wish I could go with her π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί.
Some few minutes after recording, I was a little free and had to call her to know where she had gotten to already and she told me she went to a nearby supermarket Justrite, to get some stuffs for her mum before she finally left.
I was happy hearing this, and I told her I was coming to meet her there. She was glad hearing this and told me to rush over. Now this song is ringing in my mind:
I finally met her at the mart and I was glad to see her one more time before she left.

Since she was going home, I told her I want to buy bread for her mum, a small gift to her. And yes I also bought some other stuffs for myself.
I owned the bronze tone and clinic carrot, they were the only two things I needed in the mart as bought my cream and bathing soap had finished.
Before we took our leave. I asked Pearl if she wouldn't mind if I got anything for her. Definitely you know women, the answer to that question would always be yes!
So we head to the snacks session of the mart.

This was where we bought the bread for mum and also we got chicken pie, doughhnut, and two plates of rice. The prices were not so high and was fair. The plate of rice was 500 per plate while the doughnuts and pie went each for 400 naira.

Then we settled to get yoghurt, but on the way, I saw a lot of washing machines, but on seeing their prices, they were quite expensive. I don't know if it is because of the economy, but I saw a washing machine that was smaller than mine and was more expensive than mine.

We saw variety of drinks that I was tempted to change my choice to something else, but I stayed strong on my choice and then settled for a yoghurt that was less expensive. Pearl grabbed the yoghurt from the fridge and loaded it into the cart I was holding.

After buying everything we needed, it was left for us to walk down to the checkout counter to pay for everything we had placed in the cart.

We placed our items, paid for everything, and checked out. Then I asked that we should take photos before leaving to as a memory. So we decided to be taking pictures of each other and took all these pictures.

After some time, a lady walked up to us to ask Pearl to please take a picture of her. I thought of something, why not take a picture of Pearl as she is taking a picture of the lady. So I took these:

This was how my weekend ended up being different from others, and I appreciate the little change in the routine. It meant a lot to me.
