In my last post, I started a series on the spiritual laws of progression, and I discussed about a few things. If you have not read through it, then you can go through the post by clicking on here. In the post, I shared points I learnt in each day—from day 1 to day 3. The first was about the need to have a personal mission statement; the second, was about the need to have a strong desire to accomplish your goal; and the third discussed the need to be accountable. So if you haven't read the post yet, then what are you waiting for?
So let us begin!
DAY 4
To progress in life, it is important for you to have a clear vision of how you want to accomplish your goals. You need to have rehearsed every step and every action you will take mentally before taking the physical steps. This way you will have the momentum to do what you need to do and also to do it well.
You can find this attribute in a lot of athletes; before they go into a competition or a tournament, they would have mentally pictured themselves with their competitors and played the whole scenario of how they would win, what steps they would take and how they would it would end. This way you develop the courage to take action and the faith that your goals are already accomplished before they happen in reality.
DAY 5
What makes one preferred over others is the uniqueness they have and the value they can offer. If you are not ahead of others, what makes you unique to others? Why would you be preferred to others? If you can offer better skills, better services, and better relations with others, you will be preferred to others, and this ultimately brings progress.
This is why it is always required to put in hard work, think smart, and have moral principles with integrity in everything to do. They are the ingredients to progress in life.
DAY 6
You should always keep in mind that your journey will not be smooth. This is the reason why you need to anticipate and plan for obstacles so that when they come, they will not weigh you down. If you are able to visualise your goals, your plans, how you will achieve them, it is important to also visualise possible obstacles that may come in place as well.
It is also important to have the mindset to view challenges and obstacles as opportunities for growth, no matter how difficult they may be. This will open your perspective to opportunities.
Also note that any path that you take that brings great reward would not come easy. It will come with challenges and obstacles that are put in place to build you up to becoming that person you need to become when you get to the destination. Hence the reason why you need to see challenges and obstacles as opportunities for growth.
