There was a phase when Engeenring degree was in high demand in my country. During tge 80' many people were unaware about any other stream of studies in India. Everybody was running after to get a hand on engineering degree. Be it mechanical, civil, electrical or any other. I guess the number of engineers in India were much higher than the vacancy available during that time. Even at my home many have completed their studies in Science except me. I consider lucky enough to introduce into the world of commerce pretty early in life. It was an optional subject of accountancy introduced in the 9th grade which pulled me into a whole new vertical of studies. There were many like me who were attracted towards the new course and choose them to excel in their career. Likewise these days, course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) were on high demand. The basics of AI were included in many school curriculam so that students gets a familiar hand on the new syllabus and choose a new career of their interest in coming days ahead.
These practices of introducing new syllabus comes very handy as it allows students to find a new course to excel in their career.

While I was into home coaching, I noticed many school have included foreign languages into the school curriculam. German, Chinese, French were part of optional language to make kids familiar with other languages. Similarly, Few years ago it was coding courses which were taught at many colleges and schools. My nephew getting a liking on this subject have excelled briliantly and now sitting pretty nicely in silicon valley since 4 years. Introduction to any new courses is "icing on the cake" for students who wanted to excel in the new career. It is always advisable to allow students to choose their area of interest rather than forcing your own way into their career path. The more the students take interest in their studies, the more they excel in the career. Any new courses if introduced at the right time, allow the industry to find the right mind in the correct time. Just imagine the case with my nephew. Coding was considered to be the future. He noticed the catch and started to learn deeper on the subject. Ultimately he find a pretty nice jobs when the demand was on rise.
Any new courses can be a powerful tool for students to excel academically and professionally. By expanding their knowledge and skills, increasing their marketability, and fostering a growth mindset, new courses can help students achieve their goals and reach their full potential. By achieving success in new courses, students can gain confidence in their abilities and become more motivated to pursue further learning and development. May be if I was not introduced into the accounting rules early in life, I might have ended up in wrong path. Getting some insight into the accounting field develop my interest and help me choose the new career where the demands were high. Now people are fully aware about all the different courses availavle for studies. The monotony of engineering has ended and wide array of multiple avenues opened up for various courses. A exposure will definitely helps people to excel in right path.
