The exorbitant lifestyle of human always asks for more. There are people who alwsys seek buying different things to flaunt. Whereas ealier the demand for any product is solely based upon needs and uses. If the things are required then only we used to buy them. The more easier catch is the number of vehicle that a person own in their home. With changing time, people looks to own different vehicle. In todays time, many people owned more than one vehicle, merely to show their worth in the society. But doee people even need multiple vehicle?

I remember, numerous time I went to the different four wheeler showroom in New Delhi to book a four wheeler. My colleagues and friends always ask me to own one with each promotion or increment at office. The pressure to show the class to society made me to book the car, but everytime, I backed off, because I do not see any use case of owning a four wheeler. I alwsys favor a simple life, and when we talk about uses, The company provides me their official cab, for outstation travel and trip I used to prefer train or flight, and for basic shopping and daily needs, I was happy to commute on my legs or by booking Ola/Uber. Owning a four wheeler in big cities is always a headache. From traffic chaos to parking issue. Everyday there are news which does not sounds in favour of owning a motor. There are more vehicle on the roads than people. Merely people wanted to own more and more, just to flaunt and not to spend as per their uses.
I have seen many households who keeps vehicle for each of their family member. Not sure if they ever required it or not. Likewise peoole hesitate to car pooling and prefer to drive own vehicle to office. It creates chaos and panic on the road. While the increased vehicle result in more noise and air pollution, at the same time , it leads to traffic jam and chaos on the roads. Many a times I was in favor of forcing one vehicle per home.
One car one family.
Allowing only one car per family can bring several advantages, including significant cost savings on car ownership, reduced environmental impact due to less car usage, increased reliance on public transportation or alternative commuting methods. Fewer cars equate to lower insurance premiums, less repair and maintenance cost, and significant fuel cost reduction. Fewer cars also brings impact in environment. Fewer cars on the road contribute to lower greenhouse gas emissions. Less individual car usage can alleviate traffic jams. When individual have fewer car it potentially promotes a more community-oriented lifestyle by encouraging carpooling and shared transportation options.
Looking at all the benefits, the choice may appears to be very beneficial. However, this approach may not be suitable for large families with members requiring separate transportation for work or other activities. The feasibility of a one-car policy heavily depends on the availability and quality of public transportation options in the area.
In my opinion, adopting to one car per family is generally considered a responsible choice, especially considering environmental impact and the need for sustainable transportation options. It is all boil down to each individuals to consider the specific use case of the requirement and contribute towards over development of the nation and environment. Whether to have more than one vehicle at home depends entirely on the individual needs and circumstances, like family size, commuting distances, and budget. Better to think and make use of the most.
