Happy start to this new week friends and community🥰💕.
Health is one thing we should all take serious despite what ever our work or business schedules are , because I see health as the most important wealth in lives. But the issue is that many of us believes that as far as we woke up standing on our feet without any headache or stomach ache, we are healthy.
Although I could say as young people that we are, we might be having the notion that we are healthy because thinking 💭 back in the generation that are past, the younger ones hardly fails sick, and developing serious health issues was rear then. And this is why many in this generation still believes that only the older people needs check ups.
But it’s important to know that this era and age we are in are nothing compared to the era of our fathers and forefathers. Looking back to the past generation we know how they lived mostly on organic foods which most of them planted by themselves as farmers 👩🌾 , and even those who are not farmers knows what they are eating because of how chemicals were not rampant in cultivation.
I could still remember how my mother cultivates her own pumpkin 🎃 leaves 🍃 in her garden 🪴, adding manure from waste of weeds and withered grass. Her tomatoes 🍅 too are not like the ones we buy and eat now that can never stay in the house for two days. And how about the constant drinking of soda 🥤 which keeps increasing the sugar in our body? These are why this era needs to be on their heels constantly checking our health status.
I have a routine check I do every two months. One is that of my Blood 🩸 sugar which helps me ascertain my sugar levels, to know what am suppose to stop eating or minimize. Sugar levels check ups are important in every adults life because it helps us prevent diabetes if we manage our sugar intake properly. And we should all know that diabetes in this era is not only for the old because we are absolutely consuming all kinds of sugar in the foods we eat today, including the processed ones.
My second health check is that of the High Blood 🩸Pressure. This health check is even more important due to how tension and stress has become the order of the day in this generation. Stress is one thing many of us can’t not manage in this present era because of how we face one problem or the other on daily bases.
Apart from the office work many of us are engaged in, or the businesses we do, other personal problems and that of those around us is one hail of a lifestyle. High Blood 🩸 Pressure is affecting everyone, even the younger ones. You might not know if you don’t check up yourself because sometimes that excessive headache 🤕 you are having might be the sign that your BP has risen and need to come down.
Its also very obvious that this era will suffer more of this illnesses due to how this generation is working more than in the past era, as many of this era are moving on fast pace without slowing down. This means that the brain 🧠 is constantly active especially through the use of technology.
In conclusion, there are other health checks like that of the ECG, Abdominal checks, Chest checks, etc. All these requires our attention once in a while, especially when we notice abnormalities in any area of our bodies. But it’s important we check our Blood 🩸 sugar levels at least once every other three months and that of the BP once every other one month to keep tags on how good looks to avoid emergencies of any kind.
