Happy Boxes Day friends. Christmas celebration 🍾🥂is gradually moving on as we start to open up our presents 🎁 which is what boxes day signifies. And whether we have presents to open or not does not really matters, but what matters is that we are among those celebrating 🥳 this year Christmas.
And Christmas holidays expenses can be so tempting because of how we want to enjoy all we have not enjoyed through the year which is totally not bad but we should always have a budget mapped out for the season and strictly stick to it as this strategy will help us stay on budget.
Although this year has been one of a kind because of how items and products triple in prices making budget unstable. The items we purchased at a lower price this time last year has tripped, and not just that, many of the items are even of the shelves due to how cost of importation and tariffs are affecting the importers who brings in some of the consumable goods that makes Christmas 🎄🎅enjoyable.
I love to fully enjoy this season when it comes because Christmas is what we celebrate 🎉 only once in a year, but because of how expensive things turned out this year, I have decided to strictly stay on budget, making sure to go with the most necessary stuffs that will help my family feel the goodness of Christmas while not noticing the extras that are not there.
When I went shopping 🛍🛒few days before Christmas I was baffled at how things are becoming more expensive, may be due to the global recession we had through this year to the end, or that the supermarket owners are using the advantage of the season to reap on customers. What then should we do? I was forced right there to start readjusting my shopping 🛍 list . M
Yes its very necessary I readjust to help me achieve the stipulated budget I have mapped out for Christmas which will mostly help me not over spend , looking forward into 2025 What I needed to do is to first shop on the most important items called the “Scale Of Preference”. These are the products that we mostly need for the celebration before going into the extras called the “Supplements” or the side attractions as we call them because enjoying Christmas does not just has to be food and drinks alone, but others like snacks for morning tea ☕️, dessert 🍨 for relaxation and outdoors we need for memories. All these are what makes the celebration 🍾🥂🎉 memorable.
We can achieve a happy and enjoyable Christmas in our own way if we stay articulative , making sure we don’t exceed our budget even if it means taking out some items we know can hinder our finances, and also bearing in mind that there will always be another Christmas that might even be better.
However, we should bear in mind and always remember that the new year is one that is always tough. Although many who has steady income might not agree with me to this, but I have personally observed how tough the new year has always been as someone who is in business and depends on others for patronage. Therefore, its important for us to always have some reserves that will help us push the new year before things begin to settle. Especially for those of us who has bills 💵 to pay early in the new year. Planning while celebrating Christmas is very important which definitely will help us with peace ☮️ of mind. We need to stay wise and act right.
