Hello Hiveans ladies and gentlemen and everything in between!! It's a great pleasure to be in the midst of you all. I joined Hive a month ago but wasn't even able to make an introductory post until now due to the normal life's hassles, it's all good now though at least things have lessened up so let's get to know more about me!
A little about me
My name is Abdullateef Adam Ibrahim but my friends call me Imran. I am a seventeen year old Nigerian young man. Like most youngsters my age, most of my life revolves around a school so I am currently doing my MBBS program in Bayero University Kano, Nigerian. I am in my second year now and so far it's been fun despite all the challenges medical school presents. Like I said, I created an account a month ago but was too absorbed in school work but since we're on strike now, I say to my self "why not make that post buddy since you have some free time to spare nowadays?" so here we are writing away! Despite the strike, I still visit the teaching hospital from time to time to clear out some school work ans and also engage in group discussions. That doesn't mean however that I am all bookish, I create time to do the things I love doing and that's an obligation I must fulfill before the day runs out!
My hobbies
One of my hobbies, writing, led me here. As a kid I used to make comic sketches with crayon making them represent some sort of story. I kept Diaries and I am working on my first fictional story book as we speak. I mostly write about fiction but also write about my life experiences. I used to love writing horror and still love to but since I started my medical school journey, I have merged writing horror with writing medical cases, like describing a medical case in fiction while spicing it up with some horror. I don't necessarily include horror though. I was told that I can post my stories on Hive blog and I intend doing that! It's my duty to please my audience here and I am prepared to do so to the best of my ability!
I love watching anime. My favourite anime so far is Bleach because the main theme resonates deeply with my values, the importance and power of true friendship and how it can change a person for good. Sacrifice, dedication and a never giving up spirit in attaining your goals or saving those you love.
I love smiling. I believe a smiling face is a gift you can give to a person whether you know them or not. A smile can go a long way in brightening up your mood and that of the person being smiled at.
As for sports? I do love sports!! Infact thrice a week, I make it my duty to visit the sports complex in my school. I am tall and basketball just seems to be the sport for me. I am fairly good at football and very good in badminton.
Likes and dislikes
I am pretty much a simple person. I believe in simplicity. When I don't like or don't like something I tell you straight up without wasting time. I like having fun, reading, writing, truthfulness, honesty, and making a difference in people's lives. I dislike lies and toxicity of any kind. Keep the good energy flowing by all means.
I LIKE FOOD(and yeah! That's why I created a seperate paragraph for it!) My favourite food is fried rice an chicken with sprinkles of green beans.
What I intend to contribute to the Hive community
As I said earlier, I specialise in story telling and writing about life experiences and that's what I intend doing. That's what I know how to do best and I can't pretend to know about things I know little or nothing about (like cryptocurrency for example lol!) I just do me. I have a very limited knowledge on cryptocurrency although I am open to more Knowledge and am making efforts to start my cryptocurrency journey, I think joining Hive will help me in my journey. I am open to learning new things and making new friends here on Hive, be of help in anyway I can and have lots of fun while doing the things I love.
