World of material in which we are living. People define themselves and others on the basis of wealth and money.
Today, I was thinking on a wonderful topic; Is the hygiene of a person linked with wealth?
It's a question that stormed many thoughts in my mind. After brainstorming for a while, I am jotting down all my thoughts.
Low income and money directly links with "no affordability" of basic necessities of life. People from humble class background struggle to live through hand to mouths. The poor are only concerned with surviving in this materialistic world. They have thousands of other worries to worry about. Their life feels stuck and tough. This lack of income leads to "Hygiene poverty."
Isn't it an innovative term?
Insufficient money forces people to struggle a lot and to live in the misery. The materialistic world also follows the same rule "survival of the fittest".
The one who has money can survive easily and freely in this World otherwise other sections of humans have to suffer and have to live in the misery.
The section suffering with hygiene poverty are unable to even buy simple items including soap, shampoo and other hygienic products.
People of humble classes, who are unable to buy basic necessities of life, struggle in social life as they face discrimination and are often least accepted in the society. It often leads people to decrease self worth of human. People start questioning their own worth and importance in daily life.
Poverty or low income also affects personal choices of humans. Families who suffer with poverty have to choose one thing from these two ;
- Food
- other hygienic products
They might buy hygienic products but they use them in least amount. I mean, skipping washing clothes and reusing them so that hygienic products like soap can stay much longer in their home.
On the other side, those people who belong to the rich class have access to all type of resources and they can easily get whatever they want. They have all type of choices to make and options to consider as they don't have to worry about wealth.
So cleanliness means that you are wealthy?
Simply not but may be.
As much as cleanliness is related, it is more linked to positive upbringing and habits that we all learn from home. Well, it's also not necessary that we have to learn it from home. Often we learn things when we live outside of our homes like living in hostels with other fellows.
Parental education, a friendly environment around and positive upbringing can really motivate us to stay clean and hygienic. But, the factor of wealth can never be ignored in keeping yourself clean and hygienic as wealth can help a lot to buy hygienic products.
In this way, society often shows a positive attitude towards us. Society often thinks that if we are suited booted, it means we are rich and belong to a decent family.
Appearance is deception!
