There was one day before the new year, i and my sisters were talking, more like daydreaming 😅 . >we were discussing how we would have loved to just do something different other than staying home and spending the new year, @jessicaossom said she wanted us to go to the beach since it had been a while since we had visited one, then we sat down and calculated the cost it would take us to go to the beach after much calculation and asking everyone who wanted to go and asking our dad for a mean of transportation in which he came up with the solution quiet fast, after every calculation we saw that we would not be able to afford such expenses for the new year celebration, cause the kids would be resuming soon according to my husband, so we had to cancel everything and just stick to the normal way we do celebrate our new year.
A PERFECT NEW YEAR TO ME
A perfect new year celebration to me is one spent with family, I love spending time with people, and the new year wouldn't be complete without these people around, the new year would be one where we all enter or go with a clear mind towards each other, I believe going into a new year with grudges in the heart would be like a bad omen for the new year, instead, we all should sit as a family and talk it all out.
A perfect new year would be one where I get to see every member of my family and my friend in good health and not in any discomfort whatsoever, it would be one where we all get to be ourselves and not worry about the happenings of the next day.
THE KIND OF NEW YEAR CELEBRATION I WOULD GIVE MYSELF, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS

I would have granted the wish of my sister if it was within my power, I would have given them the happiness of spending the new year on the beach, it sure would have been an interesting outing with family and friends.
Here's how our day would have gone
After waking up that morning after the church service, I would have tidied up the house and prepared the kids that morning, you know I would have gotten them some fine clothes to wear before that day, so after dressing them up I would call my sisters and parent to also start getting ready too.
I would then start preparing the meal we would take along with us to the beach, and it wouldn't be one-person cooking, I would have made some preparation the night before and would have been rounding up the cooking that morning, after packaging the food and arranging the utensils we would be using to eat at the beach, then I would have taken my bathe to get the sweat off me, though there would be harmattan, that doesn't stop me from taking a bathe😅
Next, I will call an uber, since one car wouldn't be enough for all of us, we will be ordering two uber's, and then my sisters and parent would be ready and then we will be on the road, on getting to our destination after experiencing little traffic on the road, we would then pay the uber driver and be on our way to the beach proper, we would hire a tent or hut where we would keep all our coolers of food and drinks, then everyone would take turns watching the food and the some of us might be afraid going into the water like @jessicaossom and @glorydee 😍😜
I just know we would have fun, and even the kids would be so happy that they will eat to their fill, I know it would have been a great day if I had the capability to do so.
Truth is we still had fun at home celebrating, even a distant family member came to visit us that day, so it was still fun the kids ate to their fill, hopefully, next year I would be able to fulfill this for them by Gods grace🙏
