Hello wonderful people of hive and to the rest members of the hive learners community, I say good evening from this part of the world to you. It's been raining and so far so good. I have been indoors. Not a bit bordered by the rain, just that it made me a bit sleepy throughout the day. I'm looking forward to another day of productivity tomorrow. Despite the rain, I'm grateful for the cool breeze it brings. I'm hoping that the sun will come out tomorrow and bring some warmth and light to my day.
It's the second edition of this week and without further ado, I would dive right into the topic proper, what is that one thing that civilization has done , that thing that has impacted human life, we'll let me just say that there have been a lot of things that has impacted human life and that we are all benefiting greatly from it, there's no doubt that, with civilization our world has changed from what it used to be and I can say that it is something we all should be grateful or should I say thankful for. Civilization has given us access to new and more efficient technologies that have enabled us to do a lot more than we used to do in the past. It has also given us access to more resources, which has allowed us to build more and bigger cities, as well as create better infrastructure and transportation systems. Civilisation has enabled us to enjoy improved standards of living and to create a better future for the next generations.
Civilization has transformed human life in numerous ways. Despite the many reasons to be grateful for these accomplishments, it is equally important to acknowledge that civilization has also had many negative consequences. But first let us talk about the pros of civilization in the medical aspect of life.
Civilization has helped in the medical aspect in so many kinds of ways. In the olden days people died as a result of lack of proper health care amenities and also wrong or no diagnosis, but with civilization that has changed, doctors are able to identify an illness with the help of various tools and machines and as well scientists have brought out different drugs to sort out different illnesses.
Medical facilities have been invented to treat or look after various kinds of illness and this has in a way reduced the death rate of people who died from unknown illness like in the olden days.
Now pregnant women don't have to suffer so much to push their child out of the womb, there is now surgery done to aid a woman give birth seamlessly and I can say that this has also reduced the death rate of mothers and babies in our present world.
The disadvantage of civilization is that many have taken advantage of it and they abuse the system. Talking about the aspect of child bearing, many have succumbed to the hands of abortions due to civilization. Then it wasn't always easy to get an abortion as there wasn't any equipment that would aid a successful surgery, but now young females especially indulge in such acts and they are therefore one of the cons of civilization.
How have I lived?
I have tried to live a smooth life with the help of civilization and also cope with being around the cons of this same civilization. It can't be helped so we just try to be in sync with whatever goes on
I had a good time writing this and note that there are a lot of other things civilization and brought and also there at disadvantages to it. We just have to have this thought at the back of our heads that for everything that has an advantage there's also a disadvantage.
Thanks for stopping by.
