One of the beauties of life as we live it is in its dynamism. The world keeps changing to adapt and conform to the dictates of the times.
As is evident over the years, how things were done and practiced has also changed in plenty of ways. The quest to live a better and much easier live dominates man's thought process. Technology has played a vital role in making this quest somewhat achievable.
With the introduction of technology into our everyday living, life has been indeed fun and quite easier to live in. Technology has made hitherto complex and difficult tasks easier to manage.
One aspect of technology that has grown in leaps and bounds, as time passed , would be the use of artificial intelligence, commonly referred to as AI.
Simply put, Artificial intelligence is a type of technology that is built to try to mimic human intelligence in other to perform tasks and works ordinarily performed by humans.
Contrary to what so many believe and might not be aware of, Artificial intelligence has always been with us. Even as far back as 1935.
The aggressive development and deployment of modern AI protocols has created a lot of noise and awareness and as such has brought it to the world's attention. Chat Gpt and the likes, for example, giving the use of it a major boost.
The fact is, at a point in our lives, one way or the other, we have all used one form of Artificial intelligence. Many seem not to realise that search engines like Google search, binge etc are all Artificial Intelligence.
AI, as it is being advanced currently, can actually perform a lot of tasks that humans are known to perform. As a result, there has been questions and fears about it taking the place of humans in various tasks and fields. But is this really possible?
Technically, even though artificial intelligence offers a great deal of benefits they still have loads of limitations which only humans can maneuver.
Still, looking at the frightening pace at which technology is going, one would not be wise to overlook the impact Artificial Intelligence can have on some tasks and jobs. Especially putting in perspective the concept of self driven cars trying to take the place of human drivers.
So what 'if' AI takes over every tasks? What if AI becomes a major challenge to Job availability? What are the options available to humans?
We need to understand that in this era, even without AI, one needs to learn and develope defined skill set that should set them apart when chips are down. The more we develope and add more to this skill sets with creativity, originality, dexterity etc, the easier for us to survive no matter the competition.
Like mentioned earlier, even AI protocols will struggle to adapt to some challenges as they are designed to function effectively within already determined parameters. Anything out side of this parameters, they will always struggle.
Another thing is, humans should strive to be independent, self employed. This way one can instead use Artificial Intelligence as a tool to improve their works and tasks.
In this regards, as one involved in trading the financial market, I am developing a formidable trading skill set that will help me maneuver effectively the market. I am far from being an expert but the signs are awesomely positive.
The fact is, even before now, artificial intelligence has always been used in trading the market, especially forex and crypto currencies. Bot trading or robots has always been a thing. This are forms of AI.
As much as some of this bots might be a bit OK, they still make so much mistakes that has cost people so much loss in trading. My idea is to train myself to be a lot better. This way I can even create my own bots with my own set parameters.
Here is the thing, going forward, I believe one should see AI as a tool to help us make our jobs a lot more easier and not necessarily as competition. But then we all need to go some steps higher and acquire certain skill sets that can be of help no matter the situation.
This in a lot of ways makes us fortified from AI and even fellow humans.
