Relationships though seem very beautiful, enjoying and fun-giving ostensibly but many abstruse intricacies are part of them. Relationships are very delicate. People pledge lifelong vows to each other but when the time comes to fulfill them, they hesitate. The conditions don't remain the same all the time as well and relationships face many ups and downs. Some relationships that have flexibility and understand factors, manage to survive those distressing moments, and the relationships in which churlishness, ego, and stubbornness prevail, are destroyed very easily. The circumstances, reasons, and momentums can be different for agitations but what leads from agitation to spoilage are the aforementioned things.
I don’t have any event that I can narrate to you in which I faced the destruction of the relationship. I am an introvert type of person, I don’t express myself much. I don’t engage with people much. I keep my circle very limited but once I am in any sort of relationship whether it is blood, emotional, or friendship then I give my best to it. A haughty usman turns into a quaggy person for whom just the smile of another one matters. I guess this is enough bragging. Hehe.
Let me share with you guys what one of my friends faced. All of my friends are handsome unlike me so they do remain in relationships. The lapse of relationship varies from a few days to many months. Some have faced many breakups as well while some break up and then again patch up and again break up and again patch up.
So one day I found out my friend was distressed. He was whiffing cigarettes and typing messages and sending voice notes full of wrath and in the middle of typing, he suddenly stopped and threw the cell phone. I was watching him, I brought a glass of water for him and inquired what happened. He initially remained silent and then narrated his whole story to me.
In short, it was a two-sided stubbornness that resulted in a schism. The reasons behind this were restraints, disobedience to those constraints, not understanding the state of each other, trying to justify himself/herself right and others wrong, lack of constructive talks, fights instead of peacefully handling the matter, and so-called ego from both sides that didn’t allow them to show flexibility instead they chose to break up their relationship which started a year ago.
Unlike other relations, the boy was serious with that girl this time. He used to ignore us for her and spared almost every hour of his day for her. They used to remain on video calls almost the whole night but too much love brings disputes as well. The possessiveness of the boy galvanized the whole scenario. He imposed some limitations on the outing and dressing of girl. And the girl instead of showing ductility resisted this. The whole scenario lasted for a month with often complaints, fights, and off moods. But none of them was ready to acquiesce and ultimately they just broke up.
Though he was pretending before her that he didn’t care deep inside he was completely shattered. He might have restrained the apparent tears in his eyes but his heart was crying like a child and I could have felt this. So instead of discussing over matter which has come to its full stop already, I tried to bring him out of trauma and took him outside for some outing and food so that the change in atmosphere might alleviate his pain.
As I mentioned earlier, relationships are very delicate. Even trivial causes might dilapidate the edifice completely. A lot of intricacies are involved in it.
Conclusively I will say understanding, chemistry, love, and patience play the role of cement that consolidates the edifice of relationships.
