The distribution of money is not even. Likewise the flow of spending money is not even as well. Some people are too much spendy . They spend money on extravagance and redundant things even. While some are so miser to spend on their own needs as well. Personally, I have seen both of them.
My father says that two things result in your decay. One thing is relying on your collected wealth for rest of life and not making any more inputs. When the inputs are stopped, you gradually step towards decay. And each day you get poorer and poorer. Second thing is not managing your expenses.
According to my father, controlling is bad word while managing is good. Expenditures should not be controlled infact they must be managed. Management will help you maintain your financial status. You will spend how mich you can recover. Controlling is stoping spending and extravagance is spending on useless pomps. And to prove these hypothesis , he gave us many living examples.
Festivals are the merriment occasions. The gala brings in excitement,love ,energy and pleasure. It is natural that one stops caring about expenditures than. He loves spending on him,his family and friends. That spending gives him more pleasure. And it is absolutely fine. I also spend money on such occasions without any care. I buy whatever I want because I want to soak in every happy moments of carnivals.

As the christmas celebrations are peak. People are enjoying vacations and family time and they are spending whatever there reserved for it after struggling whole year. The zeal to spend is same in both poor and rich and that is why money is flowing in alot in market.
But few considerations must be kept in mind, the vactions will end and celebrations will culminate as well but the first month of every year btings in many challenges because one spends alot and then he has to live hand to mouth.
When you are spending , keep in mind that you are not spending on few days only but the reservoir from which you are spending, must be able to feed you for next 1 and half months. Usually what happens is that it takes time to get back to routine and for this we must have budget till 10th of february atleaset when we start spending on 21st of december.
**What strategies can be employed to manage resources.

First it is not bad to do little work in these days as well. Like by sharply assessing one can use its assets to earn passively through cryptocurrency. Safe and properly researched trade can easy extract out money for daily use without doing any hard physical work. Like this many more earning ways which demand little effort and time should be used.
Second, the things which are of prime need and can be stored for long time and are used in celebrations should be stored before these days. Because this will also lessen the weight in these days.
Third, while spending one must keep in mind his assets. He must not burn out all his expenses just because he thinks he will shortly recover them after vacation. He may have to face unfavourable situations.
Fourthly, fun and happiness does not lie in expensive things only but small and meaniful things can also do wonders for you and you must always be looking for least expensive options.
Following these strategies I believe one can easily get rid of overboarding of celebration expenses.
