Education is the cornerstone of human development; it sharpens individuals and society at large; it cuts across skills and knowledge acquisition; and it brings about improvements in all spheres of life. In a nutshell, the importance of education can never be downplayed because it holds the power that inspires critical thinking and problem solving, which in the end helps put the world's future on the right track.
Even though I wasn't the best performer academically during my elementary school days, my parents were the type who wanted the best for their wards, and one way they do this is by making sure we're educated because they believe it paves the way to a greater and more positive future. So even though I would have quit on my own back then, the drive and encouragement of my parents kept me going until I improved and then arrived at the point I'm at now.
Presently, I'm a university graduate and have a bachelor of science degree in education in computer science, meaning I'm a trained educationist. Graduating from the university was one of my biggest achievements thus far, and I'm thrilled by that. Even though I graduated about 8 years ago, it's been an awesome experience, and my degree certificate is one that earns me the current job I've got presently.
Since I graduated, I have wished I could further my education qualification to the next level, but due to different constraints like finance, time, responsibility, and demand, I've not been able to achieve this goal beyond my last academic degree. But in a situation where I've got all I need to further my education, I'll surely and definitely want to go ahead because it'll play a big role in my career and the betterment of my life going forward.
If I were to go further and I'll do my master's degree (MSD and PhD), then I'd still want to continue in the line of computer and technology innovation, so the course will most likely be computer science again or software development. I believe either of these is instrumental to my career path and envisioned future.
How this choice of course would help my career choice is pretty simple; I'm presently a teacher, and improving my knowledge on this path would greatly help me impact better knowledge on my students. Aside from how it'll improve my skills as a teacher, it'll also put me in a position to have more to offer in my career path and could even give me the opportunity to chase any aspirations and have something more valuable to offer hive blockchain and the world at large.
Either I proceed with the career of not, I know it won't reduce my personality, but furthering will help me achieve more than I would have without it in my career path, and with that in mind, I guess furthering is the best way forward, although the barrier is finance and time, but I'm hoping this will be feasible in the near future, even though another thing I would have loved is furthering my education outside the country, as I believe I'll most likely get the best and quality education over there than I would down here.
That's about it for now. I hope you enjoyed the read. Have a wonderful day, and stay blessed.
