Freedom is a very interesting concept and when it comes to being free, we know everyone yarns for this, but then with today's prompt one thing I've come to understand is that freedom depends on individual perspective, If we decide to see being free as the ability to do anything however we like without consequences, then one thing I can go on to assure you is that no one would be free in such a society; the laws, order, and moral code of conduct are usually seen as a limitation placed on our freedom of will, but then, from another perspective, it can be seen as a blessing in disguise that cements our freedom because they go on to protect us and maintain order in a society, but does that mean we aren't free?
Everyone wants to do things as they deem fit, without being restricted by anything whatsoever, and we can all agree that to the ear it might sound great and like the right thing to do or give everyone such, but then when we consider the effect such would have on our society, then we'll all know it's not the best way to do things, all because no one wants to be in captivity and be restricted, but then there's this new trend that even if you're not in prison or under captivity, you still aren't completely free.
This notion is further pushed with the loads of rules and regulations we've guiding various sectors; these seem endless, and going against any of these can lead to one getting punished or penalized, which we feel is a bridge to our right to free will, but then, looking at the repercussions this can have on you personally, your business, your loved ones, your society, and the world at large, we'll all agree that rules and laws are there for a purpose.
There's this common saying that a village with laws is a village without sin, meaning you can do anything, take anyone's items without their consent because you have free will to do anything, and no one will question you for doing so. It means you can decide to not obey the traffic rules and lights and just drive by, and even if that leads to an accident, you won't be penalized because you're only exercising your free will. There are several other scenarios I can paint that would make having such a complete mistake, and so that's why I'm of the opinion that having complete free will to do things without consequences, especially when what we do is wrong, would be a disaster.
Absolutely, freedom can be chaotic, as it can lead to violence, stealing, causing harm to others, deceiving orders, practicing what you don't study, and endangering lives of others without repercussions. This doesn't seem like what would help a community, and that's why having rules and regulations in our society doesn't necessarily take away our freedom but creates a safe space for everyone to coexist without fear, in a nutshell trading our freedom for the overall security of everyone.
Beside, like I said earlier, freedom is all about perspective. We've people who live in a society with numerous laws, and yet within them, they feel completely free, and there are others who live in a lawless land, and yet they still feel trapped, meaning freedom and free will aren't always about external restrictions.
We might not appear to be free entirely due to the various regulations guiding our lives and actions, but then when we understand the importance of mutual respect and individual boundaries, we'll appreciate what we've despised about these rules. Freedom doesn't necessarily have to be having the free will to do anything we want; it can also be seen as the ability to choose within the limits reasonably laid down by the law.
LEO POWER-UP DAY
Hello everyone, welcome to the February edition of the Leo POWER-UP day. It's quite pleasing that, particularly in the second edition this year, Leo is one of the top layer two tokens on the Hive blockchain and a tribe token of the Inleo team. I can't help but participate regularly for the belief I have in the team.

Today I power up 150 Leo tokens. Prior to powering up today, I had 3389 Leo tokens staked, but after powering up 150 more Leo tokens, I now have a total of 3539 Leo tokens staked on my account.
