Hi there Hivers!!! So today I'll share to you the continuation of our NSTP activities for during second semester. We had a new group of members formed this semester, which made everything feel fresh and exciting.
The following are the activities during our second semester:
1.Chant Presentation:
During our last discussion sir announced that we will have a chant presentation by group. After that our group decided to create a chant and practice on the other days. But since we have a class we only have limited to practice. On the day of the presentation we've practice thoroughly early in the morning the presented it. During our presentation some of us did mistakes but still we continue and just smile. We just enjoyed our presentation.
2.Amazing Race
In this activity we have six stations and we need to find it in the rooms around our building.
Station 1: 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡
In this game all the players need to play by pair, one will catch the ball using the cup and the other one will shoot the ball by bouncing it first in the table after that they'll exchange places. We only have 10 minutes to do it. We started it by focusing and and take calm actions to timing the shooting. The feeling of victory with just one minute remaining was incredible!
Station 2: 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡
Pass the ball requires 5 members to play only. We need to pass the ball using a bond paper, after you pass the ball to the next person you need to go in the back to received it again same cycle until you reach the finish line. An we also have 10 minutes to do it. The initial attempts were chaotic. We dropped the ball many times, feeling the pressure of the time. But we learned from each error and eventually developed a smooth, synchronized passing system and one of our teammates calm us down and told us just take it slowly. And hopefully we finished it on time.
Station 3: 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙖 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙
This game requires 3 person each person needs to hold a rubber band that is connected to each other and they'll use that to build a pyramid, without ever touching the pyramid cups with their hands. The players who played the game are those who did not play in the station 2, so since I'm done I just watch quietly in the corner and they're so focus and build unity in order to have a same movements. We're just quiet so that they will not be pressured. And yes! station 3 passed.
Station 4: 𝘽𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚
This station was the most challenging and nerve-wracking. 2 players needed one will be blindfolded and need to reach the finish line without touching the borders using a pen and the other will guide verbally without touching. At first we don't think that we can pass it since we only have 10 minutes, every step of this is very crucial if you touch the border you need to go back at the starting line. Trust and clear communication were crucial for this .While w atching my teammates play makes us nervous because the time is running so fast and yet we're still far. But then they found technique and finished it on time. We're so happy and relieved that time.
Station 5: 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝙃𝙤𝙤𝙥
If the station 4 the difficult one then this one is the easiest. We just need to form one line holding each other without breaking it while passing the hola hoop. After it reached the end we pass it again on the starting and that's it we've finished it quickly. And that's it station passed.
Station 6: 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙚
This is the last station, our final challenge. There are 4 sacks and we need to play the game by 4 holding each other. This game needs unity and careful movement so that we can move on the same without one of us getting fall. We hop in the sacks while keeping their balance and rhythm until we reached the finished line.
"Teamwork makes the Dream Work" unity and cooperation with the team can lead to achieve our goals. We learned so much about each other and how much we could accomplish when we worked together. The Amazing Race was an amazing lesson in unity, understanding, and the incredible power of teamwork. Working together to solve the challenges, wether big or small, brought us closer and showed us what we can achieve in doing it as one.
