A blessed day for all of us, on this occasion I will discuss the health sector in my country Indonesia, especially the Aceh region, before that I would like to invite you to reflect for a moment on what would happen if in this world there were no doctors, nurses, midwives or other health sectors

This situation is really bad where the death rate is increasing sharply, diseases are increasingly rampant, there are no more vaccines as antibodies, there are no more antibiotics to fight the growth of germs and bacteria and there are no more painkillers, where will people ask for help when they are sick or have an accident? Can we live in this situation when the world is getting more sophisticated, the diseases that come are very unique and strong while the health sector is no longer there, where will we look for medicine, do we just wait until death comes?

However, what is happening in my area now is that the government does not care about health workers, to be precise, it is not that they do not care, but they do not care enough, the evidence is that there are more than a thousand health workers who work voluntarily at the unique health union in Aceh who have not become civil servants and there is no payment for the services provided by health workers, sometimes I think to myself whether a situation like this is considered logical

A few months ago there was a recruitment of prospective civil servants opened by the government in general, which is sad, so many health workers still do not have employee status, but the formation of health workers needed is only dozens, even though it has been divided into several categories, doctors, nurses, midwives and also pharmacists, there is really tight competition in the health sector to get welfare in their careers, while the needs in the technical category and also teachers and office assistants have a very large quota so that their opportunities are very large from there I and other nurses feel very disappointed with This government policy

Many of us choose to quit our health care profession, they prefer to open our own businesses outside which are more promising to achieve a prosperous life, every year health universities publish almost 500 new health workers from various health universities in Aceh, while jobs are not provided so that there is an accumulation of devoted health workers in all health service units

I really understand the conditions in the health sector because I am a nurse who has served for a long time at the health center but until now I have not received a salary from the government, to meet the economic needs of my family here I opened an independent health service in the village where I live, and also many of my friends who are in the same profession have to open other businesses to meet the economic needs of their families, we are faced with two difficult choices to survive as nurses, our future fate is not necessarily considered by the government, maybe we will always be devoted, and if I leave it I feel sorry because it is a profession that has inspired us and we have become experts

Strike we never do it because we love sick patients, in health service units both in health centers and in the hospital there are more health workers who are still on duty than those who are already employees, in the health center where I work alone the number of on duty personnel reaches 200 people while those with civil servant (pns) status are only 90 people, if the strike really happens then it is certain that services will stop and patients will be neglected officers will be overwhelmed because there are not enough members

I don't know in other parts of the world whether it is the same as in my area where health workers are not paid attention to by the government!
