Hello
How are you, friend?
Imagine if antibiotics could no longer kill bacteria in someone's body because they had developed resistance. Nowadays, we often hear from patients who say they can no longer take their medication because they no longer feel any significant effect. I have long studied how drugs work and have discovered several mistakes that patients often make, leading to resistance to certain diseases.
I often hear from patients that they often stop taking certain medications suddenly, even though this is very risky for their immune system, especially when it comes to antibiotics. They stop taking antibiotics before reaching the maximum dose. What happens is that their immune system weakens, and the disease-causing bacteria become stronger in resisting antibiotic attacks. I once participated in a pharmaceutical study on how antibiotics work in the human body. Antibiotics do not immediately kill bacteria when first taken. Antibiotics form a complex of substances that bind to bacteria at a certain dose and become stronger after three days of use, weakening and killing the bacteria.
Drug Resistance Rate In my area, the internet has become increasingly popular. Since the advent of the internet, people have started watching advertisements for over-the-counter medications that claim to be quick and easy to take. There are also individuals who use online platforms to promote over-the-counter medications without explaining the side effects and risks. This has led to a lack of trust in doctors and nurses, preferring unboxing videos on YouTube. When asked why they suddenly stopped taking their medication, they often respond, "I'm already cured, why bother taking medication?" even though they've only taken antibiotics twice. Perhaps this mindset needs to be addressed quickly by providing public education about the proper use of medications.
I once changed my lifestyle habits, which made me healthier and more disease-free. When I was a teenager and unmarried, I admit my lifestyle was unhealthy, often staying up late with friends and smoking different brands of cigarettes. I was a heavy smoker, so one day I fell ill. Anemia, frequent fatigue, fever, and a severe cough required me to be hospitalized for several days at the community health center before being referred to the district hospital there. I wasn't hospitalized, but required outpatient treatment.
After three For months, I went back and forth for treatment at the district hospital, but I wasn't completely cured. I still felt my illness relapse, leaving me feeling helpless. After that, I thought about how I could conquer my illness. I tried to change my lifestyle to a healthy one, in my opinion. The first thing I did was quit smoking. I even isolated myself from my friends' cigarette smoke. I never hung out with friends who smoked anymore, I stopped staying up late and managed my rest schedule properly. I started choosing healthy foods and also established a regular exercise schedule.
After about a year of implementing this healthy lifestyle, thank God, I recovered completely, and the illness disappeared on its own. I don't know exactly when my illness disappeared, but I can feel that since adopting a healthy lifestyle, my body has gradually returned to health, and the illness has disappeared. In fact, I rarely get sick now. I still maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The human body is equipped with an immune system that can prevent and even fight disease, but sometimes we ignore it and weaken it through our lifestyle. Essentially, if we maintain our health with a healthy lifestyle, illness will be less likely to occur. Who doesn't want to live a healthy life? To be able to enjoy life with health and not need medication. I think we all desire that health, but we are still reluctant to change to a healthy lifestyle.
