My environment determines who I am at that moment; it's just like how some people say everyone carries different energies that can affect others' energy; the environment also has some energy, I guess, that highly affects me.
So, to be in my best state, my environment has to match the energy I need to attain; I need that healthy environment to reach this state of peace.
The first characteristic of my own-defined healthy environment, of course, is that it has to be clean. I am sure that's the first thing on almost everyone's list for a healthy environment. Because the state of the environment—clean or dirty, affects the physical health of the body. Ever since I learned that odor is molecules we inhale, I became susceptible to smell; the moment I perceived something bad, I didn't feel just angry but also sick. Another thing I don't like is feeling sand on my body, no matter where, be it the beach or anywhere I just don't like it. To be honest I prefer a state when I have cleaned up so much that I search deep in my mind for some cleaning to do but still can't find any.
Next on the list is arrangement and space. I like everywhere and everything in order and it creates space. The more space, the more comfortable I am, and the more healthy the environment feels. And it makes the place more breathable.
Since I was a kid from nursery school they always taught us how important trees are for a healthy environment and it became part of me before I even understood what trees did for us, I have planted some trees in the past when they taught us to plant a tree a day, the pear and mango trees are still standing today. So now I always feel like I need at least a tree in my surroundings.
Then you see these two things, electricity, and water, the use of these two things is so important like how water is needed for literally most things we clean like plates and clothes, and electricity powers things like the bulbs and fans, and to power my phone I use to listen to music and zone out, let's just say if I stay too long without them I could go insane and my sanity is very important for a healthy environment.
I treasure privacy a lot. Some people would say it is just my excuse for being an introvert, but I believe the more people I have around me, the more the variety of personalities, which leads to increased risk to my mental health.
Even though we are at most four depending on the space, of course, we got to be on good terms without constant tension. A healthy environment is somewhere I need to feel safe and secure, somewhere my true self can thrive.
I know some people who wouldn't agree with me, like my sister who says she can go crazy if kept alone away from people and loves the fullness of our house right now, while privacy and just a few humans present is what I need now to make my environment healthy, although it isn't that bad because there is no lingering tension in the atmosphere.
