Life as we used to day is very unpredictable, I mean so much unpredictable, most times, I tell myself that one day, I'll do this thing or this thing, I might not know the particular day that it might happen, buy I'll just say it and then believe it, because I know that of course, it will surely come to pass, and that everything will eventually align and fall in place...
I will keep on saying this, everywhere you go, always continue to be relevant, because when you are nothing and your relevance speaks for you, you become someone, in fact, people that eventually becomes better version of themselves in life is because is because of their relevance and ability to solve a problem at hand...
I don't know if I've said this thing here before, but even though I have said it, I'll still say it again.
The moment I crossed over from last year to this year, my body and my spirit knew that there was a change somewhere.
And my spirit said that this year is going to be a very intentional year for me...
I really didn't understand that statement, in fact till now, things are still becoming different and better in my sight.
January, I changed from my local church branch to another branch in Lagos Maryland, I was only invited to check out the branch, but as I entered, my spirit leaped for joy...
This is where I'll talk about relevance a little bit. The church was quite better than where I was coming from, they had good and interesting things that could make me feel at home, I am a professional photographer and videographer, but it was a waste where I was coming from, because we don't use it at all, we don't have a camera or any social media presence to create awareness, but this church have everything I am looking for...
I decided to use the first month to strictly watch and observe the environment, and so towards the end of that month, I was asked if I was interested in joining any workforce, and after I told them what I do, they were impressed and asked me if I knew how to make videos for contents every Sunday, but I gave an excuse that my home is so very far from where the church is, and they were willing to settle that problem.
Where I am going to is that after i eventually joined the workforce, of course the media workforce, I was given an iPhone 14 pro max to shoot with for the content, my head was impressed even more...
After the day I did my first video, till today, I have not been given the chance to try out other things, my relevance in what I did spoke for me, they enjoyed it that there was a Sunday where I didn't carry the phone for the content videos, and the members were asking me, what happened, why are you not shooting us today? That was when I knew that indeed, people are watching...
I'm sure they had who was doing it for them before, but I guess I gave a different ingredients from what they had been having, and so I was retained.
That same January, my cousin got married, it was a very interesting one, it's been a while I went to wedding, not to talk of being part of the wedding planner...
I have been working for hard on myself, making sure that I am being a very better version of myself, and it has been evident in most aspects, I get a lot if encouragement, saying, I see what you are doing, well done, and so many more...
In the past 6 months, and for the first time in my life, I went to seminars to improve my skills and I am so happy that I did went, in fact, it was my first time of going to the island, but now, I have gone there more times in just the 6 months...
In this 6 months, I went to camp, where I had to network with greater people, I had a lot Of fun, took cool pictures in the camp, had a lot of memories....
And by the end of this month, I'll be going on a tour, around the western part of Nigeria to have fun, I really can't wait for that time, (but I do not have a choice, or do I? Please tell me make I know...)
And so many other great things happened this year, from paying house rent to collecting house rent, and many more things...
Like I said in the beginning, life is so unpredictable most times, The only time I felt bad this year was the fact that our last topic was about death, but I said I really didn't have anyone that I have lost, and in less than 12 hour, I lost an uncle, it was so painful, I wasn't close to him, but u was close to his children, they are all grown now, but we're so close, they remind me what family stands for...
