The problem I have is that what makes a man or a person generally wise or smart or grown is the fact that when you lit your hand in danger, it hurts you or shows you it bad effects and yet you still go back to put your hand again to check if you’ll find luck?
Is that how life works now?
Even children, when they do something that will hurt then, once they remember that that thing is not good for them and they see it again, they’ll run or cry or just not be comfortable around it…
I can remember how my mom used to tell us that one of my siblings or maybe even me I cannot really remember the person, but then while we were so little and so one particular day, as she was cooking for the family, one of us crawled to the fire in the stove cooker;
I mean it might have look very special, very productive, very useful, something that’s taking my attention, that’s calling my name so desperately and I cannot wait to see it, I cannot wait to have it as my own…
And then while crawling to the fire my mom probably softly or gently dragged the young child away from the fire because as an adult we already know the end result of what the child will face, but as for the child, it’s something worth exploring, so why should I not try it, why should I not grasp and grab this rear opportunity without wasting time?
And so after so many times of rejection and stopping from going to the fire, my mom later agreed that since this child is still bound with foolishness and has chosen to learn the hard way, then the hard way it will be.
She later let the child walk to the fire so he can satisfy his desire to enjoy whatever is feeding that his desperation to go the fire, and so at the time he got there with a lot of speed, he quickly put his and in the fire, he probably wanted to put it in his mouth to taste as well…
Unfortunately for the child, after he saw that what he ordered was different from what he got, the rate he got hurt, the speed he removed his hand was way more than the speed he used to put it in, and ever since that day, till he grew up and had better understanding of what fire is, he cried whenever he sees it, cause the PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) he had after that changed his perspective of what it was as of that age…
Now, I do not know why an adult will decided that he wants to be playing with his life by doing risky games that can even take your lives…
They say when you don’t work for something you might not see the value in it, well it’s very true , and we should know that noting is free at all, there’s no way you’ll just drop small amount of money and then all of a sudden you are millionaire?
No that’s not how it works, cause if not, na all of us go Dey do am…
And the moment you even try and fortunately for you you get something, there’s always this greedy drive to always want to get get more, because it’s never enough, I mean your motivation will be JUST ONE MORE GAME!
To tell ourselves the truth? It never ends like that, oh no, not after just one more game, because one more will turn to this then to there’s and so on like that till you are drained, abd you don’t think that it’s crazy? And the only thing you can testify about it is that there’s someone that knows someone that became rich from there???
At times you’ll hear them say things like
ahh, and it remains just one game ooo, if not of this one game, I for don make am…
And that one game is what you j keep saying for a long time and you don’t think the system is rigged? It’s damn gigged, cause why is I your probably always cut by 1? Just one game!
So yes, I see every reason and no reason why it shouldn’t be stopped or fully illegal, because by day, children of these days are not really ready to work and what they need is something that will give them fast money and they don’t care how much of their investments that’s lost…
Another problem I see there is that they will play 10 times and win like 3 times and then that winning time is hope for them, saying thing like if I can win now, I can win again, till they run down and they even start stealing…
Another problem is that desperation eats deep that you start to steal when you don’t have enough money to play again, at this point , by any means the game has to be played and so it’s not just an ordinary desperation, cause from here, it’s now becoming an addiction and there’s almost nothing that can be done at this stage but the intervention of the divine powers!
