While growing up, to an extent I did not like babies, and the truth is that now that I am older, I just do not know if there was any special reasons, but I could just say I did not like the way they cried or something like that. in fact, there was no special or specific at all why I hate or disliked them, all I knew was that I just didn't like children that much.
And as I grew up much more, I started to realize that the me that didn't like children changed, and this time, it was like children loved me than the usual, they come around me and feel so comfortable, one even told me that I am her best friend, I was so surprised cause it sounded funny coming from a small child's voice, can you imagine that kind of thing?
I was going to a church member's house for a birthday party, and then I went late that day, and by the time I got there, the way the woman's child jumped on me, I was like, calm down dear, and her mom was like he had be asking of me and always checking the door whenever it opens or hears a knock, and by the time I entered, she screamed and jumped on me, I couldn't help but feel loved.
I could remember the first time I saw a child take his first time was over 12 years ago and that day was a very special day, it was my cousin brother that took his first step as a child, I was do happy when I saw him walking, I had to call everyone's attention to look at him. Why I said it was a special day was because that same day, my grandmother was to travel to United States, and so we all escorted her to the airport, and so while we were waiting for one or two things just outside the airport, if I'm not wrong, we were waiting for my uncle's car to arrive, so then as we are all sitting down waiting, this little fella just stood up and then took a few steps, and because that was his first time, he fell over and over again, and just because it was his first time walking, I was so happy seeing my cousin waking, it was so funny but interesting at the same time, it was a memorable time, and I'm not sure I'd forget it.
Now he's a big boy and if he tries anything, I'd remind him that I was there when he started walking lol...
I think the next time I saw another baby walked was about 2 years ago, and that was my neighbor's child, just before she became one year old, she took her first step, and everyone merry, it was a very nice time.
And last was this year, my neighbor gave birth again, and her child just started walking last year October, just after her birthday, it was so funny cause she was so fat and was not like her elder sister who walked before her birthday, but she still walked which was more important...
