Responsibility is a great one. It makes you responsible and measures your integrity level. I am glad I was of use to this blockchain at large. It was a great one and I am honored. I’m here to report what happened in our partnership with @gemghana. How everything went and how pleased everyone was. It was a wonderful event and everyone who heard about the hive wanted to know more about it. What a great day!
In the northern region of Ghana, ladies have found it difficult sometimes to access pads. They sometimes skip school because they are in their periods. They fear the blood will stain their clothes in school. This is because they don’t have money to get themselves these sanitary pads. Knowing this from the side of @gemghana, they made us at hive known and it was wonderful news when @guilityparties together with @valueplan approved their support.
Hive supplied them with their pads and we had to go to do the donation. We went to a school called Sang Junior High School. A school made of only ladies. Ladies that are ready to make an impact in the future. Hive invests in people who will grow to have our name on their tongue and this was a great choice because the kids there showed they deserved what Hive was doing for them.
From education on mensural hygiene to the distribution of pads, @gemgfahna executives spoke to them on how they can keep themselves clean, how they will handle themselves when they are in their periods, and how the pads were being fixed. That day was the day I learned how sanitary pad was being fixed. It was a great day for learning too.
We climaxed everything when we asked the ladies to have a voice. That’s what we at Hive stand for. Decentralization for everyone's voice to be heard. So, they should have the voice to speak out. When they do, we at Hive will listen to them. We said to them, how glad we were to do this and it might not be the last because they showed appreciation to hive and we know if that day ever comes, they will look for us and be a part of us.
