Day #11 ( I almost feel like I'm writing the Captains log for the Starship Enterprise...Lol...) #HiveIsAlive
Anyhoooo, day #11 on the #IAmAliveChallenge thanks to @Flaxz and my first day on the #IAmEngaged created by @slackerman and so very engaged and grateful to be on this platform with so many interesting and inspiring people from around the globe.
All of us from every where reaching up to the sky and beyond!
It's a day of celebration for Erik @Flaxz for hitting the 100th day for the #IAMALIVECHALLENGE, which is a very positive and uplifting community full of wonderful people collecting together from around the world to celebrate their lives on this great Earth and appreciate the incredible lives that they have, so congratulation Erik for starting such a fantastic initiative and reaching this milestone.
Here's cheers to many more milestones to come! 👍 (where are the champagne glass emoji's???)
I am also happy to say today-after 2 days of re-cabling the old machines to new-ish PC in the system (still can't get the internet connected to the PC though....😬) that I have finally resurrected the digitisation of a huge A/V analogue archive collection which I haven't touched- or hasn't been touched by any of us (3) volunteers for the past 3-4yrs as all of us have had numerous personal battles to conquer in that time, but I've finally got it going again and I'm now 8 tapes into it- with thousands more to go...lol...
Just a small handful of my tapes....lol..and there's many, many others too...😂
It's a very important collection of footage as it was deemed by ScreenSound in 2002, now the NFSA- National Film and Sound Archive here in Australia as a historically and nationally significant collection of Australian Audio visual tapes and the people call it, the history of the people shot by the people for the people and it's all about the news and issues faced by minority communities the world over- in the theme of @CitizenJournalists and all shot and edited by volunteers and between 1988 and 2011 it was broadcast on Melbourne's community channel- C31 and I am proud to say that when I took over the producing of the show back in 2007, I took it from 10,500 viewers to the second highest rating show on c31 at 55,500 viewers per episode- second only after the 4wd and fishing show..lol...for a 2 year period until I left just before I had my first heart attack...lol...
Watching this footage as it goes through brings back many great memories and lots of bittersweet tears.
To be continued.........

And tomorrow I will be listing my first set of #myhivegoals
Here's a #Iamengaged shout out- upvotes and comments to the people that supported me from day one on Hive as I tried so hard to understand how it all worked and thanks to these guys- and the rest of you brilliant people everywhere, I'm still here and loving it, so thank you!
