So here we are Friday night and day #23 for me in the #IAmAliveChallenge thanks to @ErikGustaffson #Flazx who started this great initiative to celebrate our lives, regardless of who we are, where we are and what we've got.
To appreciate the simple beauty of being alive and breathing (even if it is behind a mask) and to discover, excite, inspire, motivate and share our talents with the rest of the world.
I'm sure that someone in amongst this gorgeous vine is some of @Jenns, @PixiePost #missingpixiedust and if not, maybe it hidden in the info below the photo.....😉
I've had a great day today. I haven't won the lotto, fallen in love (or even met anyone (anywhere) for that matter.. lol...), gotten a job (!) had anyone call to offer me a co-production agreement for any of my programs or made a sale on my Redbubble shop, but considering we're on the second wave of Corona Virus which is proving to be far worse than the first and we're back in lockdown again, I can't complain, because I've still got a roof over my head and am definitely one of the lucky ones.
And there is simply no point in complaining.
The best thing to do- really the only thing to do is to be pro-active and learn things, do things, be productive and progressive.
This is such a horrendous time for so many people in the world, but yet for those of us that are safe, are we ever going to get a time like this again to do the things that we need to do to better ourselves and to help better the world?
Be like the Ivy and grow all over those staid, old-fashioned bricks!
Be different, be colouful, be alive and be a force to be reckoned with!
And I have been having a great many excellent discussions on Hive for the past few days about engaging in some of my passions, aswell as discovering some new Hiveans who are on a mission to prosper and #IAmEngagedChallenge with them.
First off I'd like to introduce you to the @spellmaker who talks about taking blockchain all the way from Crypto currency to national and global governance. Can it be done? @spellmaker/block-chainedworldorder-domvp4jcuw
and then I came across Nasa's wishlist of Six Technologies That Will Get Us To Mars by @Kralizec Gaming and my question is, even if they do get it all, do we humans deserve the colonize Mars and where do we go after we've destroyed Mars? @kralizec/six-technologies-that-will-get-us-to-mars
And they say that the eyes are the window to the souls, but as optometrist to the eyes @nattybongo discusses in this eye opening article, there's way more to them than just beauty @nattybongo/blue-eyes-green-eyes-and-brown-eyes-albinism
And then I bumped into this great article about sugars by @zydane. @zydane/what-s-the-difference-between-different-sugars-which-are-good-and-which-are-bad which is another well-known, but so often ignored health concern (slow death by processing) that plagues millions of people around the world- but particularly people in well developed western countries.
And diving deep into the #deepdives community, I came across this great podcast with a great question from @queenmountain.
- Is there a Food Shortage Disaster Looming in 2020? *Personally I think that there will definitely be numerous disruptions and not just because of the current Corona Chaos, but also because of all of the natural disasters that have and still are occurring and the imbalances that these natural disasters have on the rest of the earth. (Aswell as the panic merchants selfishly hoarding everything for themselves and not thinking or caring about others.)
So once again,it been an entertaining, educational, inspirational, thought-provoking cruise through #HiveIsAlive once again and I look forward to meeting more of you tomorrow.
Tonight I leave you with another (as Always...) original photo of mine to bask in the beauty of the natural world.
I hope that you are all able to avoid illness of all kind. Be safe, be well! Peace out. 😊
