Happy Independence Day for Indonesia. August 17th, 2023 = 78 years old of independence.
Somehow as far as I see that most people already don't need to wear a mask. An independence day usually sees as much small competition in each area mostly for kids. Somehow, I just see people crowded on National Monument (Monas) only today. I'm on the bus and it's crowded. I'm afraid to put out my handphone just to take a picture.

Well, my real destination today is Soulful Hub by F&B ID. I can invite my friends who are not working too today as today is also a holiday. When people are happy to celebrate independence day, I'm focusing on hunting food promo on independence day 😛. Foodies for ya 😁. I'm going there with 3 friends who usually hang out with me. I was meeting with one of my friends at a bus stop and the other 2 at an MRT station.
I was going to Soulful Hub to try a curry from Go! Go! Curry. Go! Go! Curry is a restaurant that served an original Japanese curry sauce, especially Kanazawa-style curry. Yeah, it tastes so different from the usual Japanese curry that I can buy in the supermarket (an instant curry block). With sweet and savory mix on a thick curry sauce, It makes me feel good to taste this curry. It also feels good that I get an Independence Day promo, Beef Hamburg Curry (Medium) + Chicken Katsu Curry (Medium) + 2 Chatime Royal Milk with a price of 170k IDR (US$11.08).
Price, Size, and also the drinks, it worth sharing with my friend. After we're done eating, as usual, we don't know what we want to do again. The main destination is done, we're ending it now? It's still 00:30 PM 🤣. After 1 hour of discussing and talking to each other. We're going to the nearest mall, Senayan City Mall. After 30 minutes of walking around that place, nothing interesting to our eyes. We even see the cinema and found that what we want to watch is still "Coming soon" or not airing on Senayan City Mall.
So, we're taking a hard detour from Senayan City Mall to Lippo Puri Mall. We're checking our usual arcade place (Elements) but it's not there anymore, another change due to Covid again. So, We're going to Timezone and take a break to play MaiMai (Rythm arcade game) to burn calories (No photos taken as we're so focused on the screen). After playing some music, we're going around and trying so many new arcade games. Well, we're not just having fun without any prediction if comes to ticketing... So, I and my friends become ticket hunters and find a way to win a bunch of tickets 🤣. Like this game below named, "Ocean Elf". You can win tickets with 3 methods:
- Push the big ball out with a small ball as usual coin pusher machine. If the big ball is pushed out, It'll go to the right one and go to 3 colors. You can see on the right one, it'll gain more and more tickets if the big ball is going to the same color spot.
- Get 5 balls attempt or 5 point attempt. If it's full, it'll trigger a challenge time and you get tickets based on that challenge time. For every "Ball" activated, It'll bring more balls to the below, and for every "Point" activated, it'll give tickets.
- Throw anything to be pushed out. You'll get tickets for every ball that is pushed out. You can use "Ball" too to push them.
Somehow the "Big Ball" gate is not functioning well. I got it once before and it do nothing. Luckily as I try to go to the "Ball" gate, I go to the "Points" gate 5 times and got the challenge time. I won 1799 Tickets. My friends also won a bunch of tickets from another game 🤣. We're sharing our experience to get more information to win a big sum of tickets.
It's a fun day and we just noticed that it's already almost 06:00 PM. We need to go back because we still need to work tomorrow. We're taking the bus together and separate at different bus stops. It takes me around 2 hours just to go home. The evening is already quiet here. The crowd from the afternoon is already gone. Back home and ready to work again! I don't forget to stake ALIVE today.
