Targeting Dolphin Status
Let me start off with that Yes, I am still targeting reaching Dolphin status however it might not be by year end as I had planned. I did some very high level calculations using my past progress so far this year, I will likely not reach it until sometime in 2026.
But even taking this in mind, I am not just going to give up trying to do as best I can this year, I will continue to post and do as good as I can to make progress toward that goal.
To achieve Dolphin status you must have 10,000,000 Vests.
I currently have 6,506,447 from 6,378,220 Vests in last report. This is an increase of 128,227 Vests up from last period reported, so still like 3,493,553 Vests.
Activity on the Hive blockchain while earning Hive translates into Vests. I am not very knowledgeable about how the back blockchain calculations regarding Hive Power or Vests work but only know that I need to target 10,000,000 Vests points to advance to the Dolphin status.
My last progress Hive Accumulation posting was at the beginning of last month so this is more like a monthly posting now. It is now time to discover what progress was made.
I participated in my third Hive Power Up day of the year yesterday. If things continue, I hope to create and participate in all of the remaining Hive Power Up days of 2025.
Hive and HBD Accumulation
I normally go into a very detailed dive into how my Hive and HBD have changed since my last report. This time I will skip all of the detail and just report my current amounts.
Today's Hive Balance:
Liquid Hive - 34.936
Staked Hive - 3911.375 of which 106.686 is delegated
Liquid HBD - 24.418
Staked HBD (Savings) - 117.022
(Staked HBD earned Interest - 1.716)
Now that I am pulling all these numbers together, I noticed I can claim my HBD monthly earnings. My HBD balance is also almost at 25 so I need to determine a strategy regarding that amount as well --
Do I convert it to Hive, power it up and get closer to Dolphin status or Stake it to earn the 15% APR
or something totally different like participate / support one of the many Hive based projects that are available.

I think tracking my ranking will also be of value when measuring my progress. I am currently ranked 2749 from 2783 holder of Hive Power moving up 34 positions in the ranking. By tracking this metric, I am hoping to move up in the ranking each and every week.
I did move up more places in the ranking than I had expected, there must have been a group of people around the same amount that allowed me to do so.

Alive Target
I have been able to grow my Alive and AliveM balances since my last report as well. I traded (bought and sold) some Alive as the market was looking a little light in the buy and sell orders. By doing this, I am hoping to support the Alive token. It appears there are lots of various Alive token earners that dump their Alive tokens on the market each time they earn some. So by providing additional buy orders, I am hoping this help stabilize the token more so than it already is.
