T.G.I.FriYAY 🎉 Amazingly rain came in the late afternoon.. thankfully, it cooled down the temperature inside the flat by a bit. My room temp thermostat reads 33C. Nope that's not too cool but it's bearable. Using electric fans can help to feel a bit comfy.
One thing for sure, my plants are happy. They do grow more and better when it's raining more often. Back in the days, weeds were our major issues in the garden. Now, even grass does not grow at all. Not good as the kitties love to eat grass -- organic ones not the cat grass seeds that I think are GMOs. 😒 Those would grow fast but would only last around a week.

#flashbackFriday to those days when I could still travel with my daughter. I took these flower photos when we visited Sagada in the Mountain Province. Such lovely local flora that I wish I could grow abundantly in my container garden too. It's been too dry these past few years. I bought two vines almost five years ago but both have not flourished the way I wished. During summer, they appear to be almost dead and dry. They do grow a lot more leaves when it starts raining. So frustrating on my part not to see more flowering plants in my tiny garden. I do wish for a real garden. 🙏❤️💡
One more day and we say good-bye to May. Oh wow! It's almost the mid year, huh? My birth month is here. I will be another year older again. 😆 It's no fun getting old, esp. since I feel like a creaky old furniture. 😛
